Don't get me wrong the speed reduction is brutal, its why I take 3 blueprints, 1 with omamori on guns, 1 with averter on cabin and 1 with daze and kami only to be used if necessary (spark brick). Also the daze version uses a flash to even out the speed loss, its also my anti yong build

Yeah the brick meta is a pain, though I wouldn't call this a brick. Its 3000 health with a light cabin, I just put everything I had into defence instead of health

Here's the trick with aegis, the 2nd one has a reduced up time ONLY if you activate it when the 1st one is on cooldown. If you activate the 2nd shield just before the 1st one is finished then you get the full up time for both shields

It happens sometimes, usually if I stop moving either because I hit a wall, got stuck on another player or kapkan. The finwhale carries quite a bit here
