Thanks so much for this video. I am in the process of ordering Versa Fine for the first time and this was very helpful. Especially comparing to the older colors.
I have so much sticker paper and would have never thought about using alcohol inks on it! Can’t wait to try this. Your cards turned out absolutely beautiful!!
Thank you!!!! I like that it’s sticker paper too because then you don’t have to worry about the glue showing through (like with acetate). Thanks for checking the video out!
I think you did a great job! I was holding my breath along with you. I have been trying to figure out a good way to do a stained glass card for years, but so far results have been only fair. I will try with the adheasive acetate and alcohol inks. Thank you very much for sharing... you can breathe now.
Thanks so much for the comment! I love the way the alcohol inks turned out on the sticker paper. It’s a great bonus that they’re already sticky and you don’t have to worry about gluing them down. Hope this technique works for you. Thanks for watching!
Thanks for the comment! I have a follow-on video where I finished up the card. It can be found here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Cl3CC3_UkC8.htmlsi=A53NK0Q3FRrMzreO If the link doesn’t work, I believe I linked the video in the description of this video. I’ll go double-check. Thanks for watching!
A “magic” property is that they can be heat embossed many minutes after stamping; I’ve timed up to 7 minutes when the ink feels dry to the touch. They also do second and even third generation stamping, depending on the color. Thanks for the unboxing - I’d been hoping for lighter colors for ages! One of my two favorite inks (the other is Distress Oxides).
