@cmichaelnelson33 😂😂😂😂 It was a protest until cops started tear gasin' old folks in bus stops, grabbing people and throwing them in vans, shooting people with wooden bullets - and not to mention all the ones that missed that hit vehicles & shop windows, absolutely shattering them. They broke several people's heads right open with them. Pushing civilians with bikes & horses. Sometime after all that, it may be considered a riot.
@@neweraadventures but why did they start doing that? They were asked to leave because you can't protest all night and day. Only after they didn't leave did that happen.
Sounds like you were there, so you you the answers, eh? Well, it was daylight aaand they were doing it, so can't be that, buddy. Secondly, if you understand it at all, any protest (at all) is breaking laws of they're in the street - even with road blockages, and that's the reasoning that they can do that against citizens at a point when they're given permission. No pedestrian is allowed in the street, blocking traffic - even with barricades. That's what a police officer told me later this night. When people start to get attacked, I would hope they start to get aggressive - wouldn't anyone that's being attacked? Firing at civilians and old folks, pepper spraying people as they blind side them in bus stops or corners, unable to even run out of it or away. Listen, I'm not for all the bad shit that happened. I was telling people to put fires out, to not do certain things, and the cops perpetuated a lot of it. They instigated. They were red in the face, spitting at the ground of black folks. I went to witness the happening, not as a side. However, it is hard to side with cops when they were shooting at me, spraying in my direction, pushing us blocks with gates, bikes, and horses, and anyone they could get, they'd throw into a back of a van.
@@neweraadventures there shouldn't have been any protest or riots period. George Floyd had every opportunity to not be unalived that day and if you don't believe that then in my opinion you are either a slow person or ignore facts that matter. Therefore seek the truth or don't continue to spread fake news propaganda
You you should have taken the new Highway 823 it runs from Lucasville to Wheelersburg Ohio When you get to Wheelersburg you can take the exit to Greenup Ky Damn. So you would be going to same way your going now. The new Highway has the most gorgeous views you’ve ever seen. The sunsets are amazing! Hiking it would be amazing! You could find lots of safe places to camp. When you drive 70 mph you can’t see the views very well. I would love to do some photography there. Wishing you safe travels! I have always wanted to stop at that antiques place along 23. I don’t think I’ll ever be stopping, now..
I would like to add. When your reach South shore Ky Which I believe that’s where you crossed the Portsmouth bridge to. Along the River there used to be homes. They had wells and the wells are still there, uncovered, unmarked. You can fall in and no body Would ever hear you. I can’t believe no one has taken the time to mark them atleast. There’s a lot of homeless people and animals down along there.
oh, wow! That would have been a much better route! Would love to see the area again when I'm able. I'm such a fan of travelling thru the areas here to go south, but there's just so much to explore!
That's exactly my logic. The public backroads are killer. I go over that a few times in spots, but it's seriously worse than most would imagine. More likely to get hit entirely, and never known about, or off cliffs at times. Jenkins, KY was pretty yikes heading into it.
I did! Back in 2020, unfortunately GoPro footage is hard to move around, and it messed the dates up.. which is why this is still taking bits to find and upload stuff. #BePatiencePlease lol
23 has many intersections and access points in, and out of the cities, this cop is stupid... this is a quote "Drivers can only enter a controlled-access highway by ramps." their are many more ways to enter 23 than by ramps, in fact look no furthar than lucasville, ohio. even beforer that spot fairground road enters the highway with just a stop sign... 23 is not a freeway, and I have never seen no pedestrian signs that cop is bull, in thee end he backspaces himself, but 23 doesnt just change it either is or isnt a freeway by ohio law, and its not.
So, being honest, I should do a review. After a year or so having one, it's definitely still a great investment, in my opinion. It's a great alternative to vehicles, and I'd say it's nice idea to innovate it folding - and being mobile with it. However, it doesn't have a lock for THE FOLDED phase, and that's annoying, and if I'm just not seeing it.. that's quite possible. The weight, or when it's dead, that's harder to pedal than I'd prefer.
I bought this special with their deals, yes. Are you interested in trying some? Don't forget to get your 20% off with "ThisAsshole20". It works on all orders, except their specials.
Kent $398 on WM right now. I got one, some things I don't like but I'd get 2 more right now because it's a 350w and it's way more bike than the price right now. It's hard to handle and dangerous, high center of G and the pedal assist doesn't obey you like a throttle, it kicks in and out and if it lunges while you're cornering and hit gravel you could go down. I'd use this in daytime and keep it off until I need to go someplace far. It ride's FABULOUSLY almost easier than my old bike with the brake dragging, needing new bearings etc.
There are 10 individual cells that make up your battery. New batteries are often not "balanced", meaning all 10 cells are not at the exact same voltage. Your Battery Management System will detect this and shut things down, even if only for a second. (A great safety feature) That causes surging. I have found that after the battery is recharged numerous times, the battery will balance out and all that surging stops. Another way, and to confirm what I am saying, is to search youtube for "proper battery balancing procedure". There is a 1:27 video from Ariel that I find helpful. I agree, for $400 this bike is a great buy. I mean, you can't buy a conversion kit and battery for that price. I will be installing a throttle on mine soon, if anyone would to see a video of it? It will absolutely void the warranty, so, maybe wait until after the 90 day return window is up
Wow! The kindness, generosity and genuine compassion people have is AMAZING! I'd say the best so far in this series, but man there have been some very inspiring moments. This is the way its meant to be; our elders (maybe I'm one now?) encouraging and being encouraged by the upcoming generations. I bet you made those folks day by just being there with them. Namaste!
I traveled a lot when I was younger and I think what I like the most is the unknown.. what's around the next corner, who I am going to meet, what beautiful sights will I see...just feeling alive.... Stay blessed my man and I can't wait to see what's next for you on your journey to Georgia..
For starters, you’re a monster much respect. 2nd you’re on an epic adventure man and I salute you. Glad to see you’re safe and still on the move. Stay safe brother Journey well
It IS Ohio. Turnt out there was (still is) a massive investigation with missing folks, mostly women on this highway and in Chillicothe, with involvement of law enforcement to a degree. It is a main vein of corruption from this northern corner outward & inward.
Man, the people you meet are freaking awesome! It sounds cliché but I have a little more faith in humanity and their ability to be kind and generous. You've inspired me to get back into the swing of posting videos on my channel. Thank you and Namaste.
