Hi I'm planning to take my family to this resort. Is there a way we can be in touch somehow! I really want to speak to you guys about this resort before making any reservation as I need your honest opinions . I live in Toronto. Please let me know . Thank you
Hi, we're heading to Nizuc in 2 weeks. How does the TS presentation work? 2 hours with all the family members (like your family but the oldest is 18 and a kid.) What's max days pass for the Grand we can ask? Thanks.
We were staying at The Grand. So they gave us like $200 cash credit. Our friends was staying at Nizuc. They got family passes to the grand for 2 days and $100. Just make sure you negotiate what you want with the rep before the presentation. If they offer u 1 day pass just ask for more. If they offer you$100….Just Ask for more on everything. Lol Presentation is for 2 hours and everyone must attend. Basically selling you to become a member. Kinda like a timeshare. Make sure u set your clock for 2 hrs so u don’t go over. Be firm on saying NO. We found it more value to book through a member than becoming a member.
were going in July and was wondering if its worth the extra money to stay at the Grande instead of the Nizuc ? We don't care about the waterslides since it my wife and I and our 16 year old daughter Thanks!
@@Charles-nk3ep About 7 more restaurants, pools, clubs, bigger rooms, etc. I have already stay there twice. Next time I probably stay at Nizuc. You can always go to the presentation and get a pass to the grand. Just make sure when 2 hrs is up. Tell them u r done and would like your 2 or 3 days pass to the grand
@@tan179 Thanks for the response! Also, were the snacks seen in the whole series like in the side of the pools free as well? Like the ice cream and drinks? Thank you!!
@@amberd007 mine is so old the the tag already worn off. The monkey on Amazon has a Velcro on the back. Our has a zipper. That the only difference i see. If u send me your email, i can send u some pictures of mine
That window seat table at windjammers is so cool. Enjoying all your videos, but they make us hungry because there's always great food. We've given you guys a subscribe and coming back to watch more of travel experiences
Nice photos of all the food. Would love to know your thoughts. What was your favorite meal? How was 150 Central Park? We loved the old way they used to have food there it was delicious truly farm to table and menus would frequently change. In June we ate at 150 on Harmony and the lobster was so bad I couldn't eat it. Overcooked, sauce w was not a conac sauce as described, unedible. I'm hoping you'll have positive things to say..
Sorry to about your experience on Harmony. We never been on the harmony, but have two book this year for that ship. Our UDP experience was amazing! 150 Central - Lobster Thermidor & Seared Scallops was my favorite. It was cook to perfection. Chops - Red Velet Cake! Giovanni's - Definitely the Filet Mignon & Tiramisu Izumi Hibachi - Grill Lobster & Scallops. Definitely recommend to try it one night. Izumi Sushi - Ramen Noodle & Assorted Sashimi. Don't forget the fried chili onion/garlic! Johnny Rockets - We ate here everyday! Crispy Chicken Club Salad, Rocket Double, #12, and onion rings. Root Beer Floats, shakes, and Sundae was a must everyday for us! Sabor - Mix Ceviche, Fish Tacos, and CHURROS! Some days we just went for Guacamole, Chip & Salsa. It was so good! Samba - Chicken wrapped in Bacon & Beef Tenderloin Windjammer - Bacon, Curry, cookie, pound cake...My kids love the watermelon. It wasn't all that great, but a little salt can fix it. lol MDR - Crab Cake & desserts. This was our 10th cruise, but the first time we got the UDP. It was best & favorite dinning experience. All the server was amazing. That just made our dinning experience even better!
@@tan179 awesome to hear! We had the UDP on the Harmony and so many things were great like Izumi, Chops, and Wonderland. It sounds like the Allure 150 is better than the Harmony. Also Sabor was very disappointing on Harmony. The Guacamole was not fresh at all , tasted like frozen Guacamole they defrosted and the food overall was not traditional Mexican whatsoever like we are used to getting in So California.
@@rachelf8454 Allure of the sea did have some food that was a bit disappointing. But sometime when you have a great waiter/waitress, it really made our food from bad to great! Sad to hear that Sabor was not up to par. our Guacamole was alway fresh and tasty. Guacamole, Chip & Salsa, Johnny Rocket was probably my favorite. Not bc it was the best food on the ship. I enjoy sitting back snacking, while watching my kids running around playing on the boardwalk.
You should definitely go to the moon palace. It is our favorite resort. We like to go when it is the down season. We keep away during the summer and holiday.
@@shantellways6860 Yes, the grand ended the kids stay free promotion. We always book our stay with a member. Some member still have kids stay free in their contract
Thanks for the video ! What a great introduction. We saw some reviews saying it is hard to reserve some of the great restaurants. Is there any tips you can share with us . Do we have to buy any special packages or become a member in order to reserve restaurants that you show on the video ?We re also planning to stay at Grand Moon Palace , and are we able to book all the restaurants in those 3 resorts?
We went during down season in April and October. So, it wasn’t to busy. During summer peak season you just have to be patience. When i check in at the resort, i would make reservation for JC Steak House on the app. JC can get book up pretty fast. JC, casa mia, and Le Chateau require reservation. We never had a problem eating at any of the restaurants. We usually to to make plans for two dinner every night. For example, we would eat at JC right when it open for dinner. Than head over to momo @sunrise 1 or 2 hours before they would close. You don’t have to be a special member to eat at any of the restaurants. But we do always book our resort reservation with a member. So we can get their perks like free massages and resorts credit.
@@jacelynwong2016 we always book our through a member on the moon palace Facebook page. The only drawback is you sending someone money in advance. But you can always book through a travel website like Orbitz or directly at moon palace website.
Are the swim jackets available or you packed yours for the kiddos? We are traveling to same resort next week and I want to know if I need to pack it. My kids are about same age group like yours. Thank you
They don’t provide them but you can buy them there. I’ve found it more space saving to buy there then to pack. They do have the plastic inflatable ones (arm floats & vests)
