I'm heading back to my work station and I had to stop the video for a second because I've been able to enjoy these epic journeys. Always with a form of lesson. From honor, what it means to really sacrifice, that nothing lasts for ever and that when your young you feel invincible but the people you love seem even more fragile to you. Games are more then just games, they were part of my life.
Only 2 games where i ever had this overwhelming feeling of “damn this journey is really over” and dropped a tear, were RDR2 and Ghost of Tsushima. 2 of the best games in recent history (my opinion)
It's an interactive Film of your own, it's a book with visuals, and overall just because it falls in the category of games and playing it still is like a book or film when you use your imagination to the strongest.
Its not just a game. Its a life. Its a career. whether as a content creator or a professional athlete. Its an escape from the sheer brutalities of our lives. Its a place we come to have fun. To cry. To learn. About either others. Ourselves. And most importantly, Life. Sincerely. A gamer that wasted 8 years of his life in the world of video games.
Well, today I had watched the video of penguinz0 where he had talked about some maximillius sh1t or something. Ur replies were absolutely savage against those who were defending that maximillius guy or whatever is it called.
There's a ton of sad games I've played, walking dead, red dead redemption 1 and 2, destiny 2 (Cayde's death) which still makes me sad whenever I think about the audio log left for us at the end of the ace of spades quest. God of war ps4 has its sad/deep moments, you got a lot of them in this video, some of the saddest moments in games I've played on top of that though are each of the assassins you kill in assassins creed rogue, each one makes Shay hurt more mentally and emotionally, and you can tell that with each kill, it really does weigh on him. He even has a sort of revelation toward the end of the game admitting that he made the choice, and still doesn't know if it were the right one.
