I really like this video. It is really covering some nice countryside in a beautiful Country. My Mother’s Family comes from Slovenia. this video is just one day old and it seems that you are now using a much better camera. Your camera quality here is really improved so thank you. When did you start using the better quality camera? You now have me as a loyal fan!
this is a beautiful country and a beautiful trip through the country. I loved seeing the infrastructure and the rolling stock. Great content. BUT THE CAMERA QUALITY LEAVES SOMETHING ON THE TABLE. the picture resolves in a splotchy manner. you should use the same camera as RailCowGirl in Norway to capture this beautiful country in a clean, clear, untroubled way!
the first hill visible from the station is Sabotin, along its ridge (mostly) runs the border between Slovenia and Italy. It is also interesting that for decades the so-called Osim road, which starts (for example) at the Solkan Bridge, and then continues towards the Slovenian Goriške Brdo, a region known for its fruit and wine, also partly passes through the territory of the Republic of Italy. but it is basically a corridor and there was never any border control there. Sabotin was the scene of very bloody battles during the First World War, old people said that many hit soldiers fell straight into the Soča. During the war, Polish hospitals, or detention centers, operated in the first galleries. The Solkan railway bridge, with the longest stone arch in the world, was among the first St. destroyed during the war and rebuilt in a slightly different way after it. The hill on the right, with the church, is the largest pilgrimage shrine of Mary - Sveta Gora. Its beginnings date back to the apparition of Urška Ferligoj in 1539. Both Urška and the shrine have survived many trials. The church was once abandoned (Jožef II:), once completely destroyed (1915) during the war, and during World War II it should have been bombed, but the allies' plan was prevented by a thick fog! However, her image mysteriously disappeared from the main churc in Gorica ( now Italy) for seven years and then appeared in the Vatican, where it was restored.

Glad to see how much time, effort, planning plus money has been spent making huge improvements to the railway system in Slovenia, looks like there's been big push by the government or railway companies to modernize the entire rail system from one end of Slovenia to the other end.
Odličen video, kot vedno! Kdaj pa je bilo to snemano, ker predvidevam, da je že kar nekaj časa od tega, glede na to da so še prenavljali postajo Maribor in da se še niso hitrosti od Špilja do Maribra kaj dvignile?
Accident video and I'm wondering what is the Pantagraph contact strip length is it 1.45m copper contact strip like Italy 3kv DC 2.050m Hungary Carbon 25kv AC 1.95m strip ÖBB DB Carbon 15kv AC 1.6m 25 Kv former Yugoslavia
This is a really nice, great, lovely video in spite of the weather . I have to agree with many of the other comments that it has been way too long since your last video.
The work you do is really great and I look forward to discovering more of it in the future. My Mom’s Family is from Slovenia 🇸🇮 and you are making it look good.
