Oh my God you explained that nicely. I trust the hell out of you!! Couldn't really get it with others!! I hear also about melody and Harmony and rhythm with lyrics. How does that apply???
Best advice is to run your daw and open activity monitor for mac. hit the memory tab. Logic, for me, typically uses about 4.5gb of ram with many tracks and every track full fx. I'm in the process of upgrading now to m3 pro and was about to get 36gb of unified memory but opting for 18. Thanks for the vid bro
beat maker is a definition in Hip Hop Music Circle, in other's genre like EDM, Rock, Metal, Pop or Any music Industry we will didn't find "BeatMaker" Word, So Beat Maker is just for Hip Hop Music Genre. its Same With Classical Music, you will Didn't Find Music Producers But You Will Wind Music Composer. im Sorry My English is Bad.
Hi, im gona be attending full sail university this coming april. Im listed in audio production. Im a songwriter. I want to know how to build beats and chords to go with the lyrics of my songs. I have no experience or training. I dont even play a instrument, but i have a gifting to hear beats and chord progressions in my head. I was told by the school that audio production is the post production of music and music production is the pre production. Can someone with knowledge of these things or the person who posted this video please tell me which degree (music production/audio production) sounds like a fit for me. Just off of what i told you.
I always have to restart my laptop multiple times while recording a song (guitar). After adding 4 5 tracks, the sound starts to flicker and it just disconnects for 10 15 secs then comes back flickering again. I use cubase and have 16 gb RAM, i5 11th gen on my dell laptop. When I checked the memory usage, Cubase only took 882 MB but still there's this sound issue. Not sure if upgrading a RAM will fix this. do you have any suggestions?
the problem could be the i5. I just researched some stuff bc i want to buy a new laptop and the main thing that is important is the processor bc for music production you need a processor with a high single core performance. that has to do wirh the fact that only one processor core is responsible for all the tracks to run smoothly and the i5 is basically to old/weak for an instrument and some tracks with effects on it. The processors with the best single core performance are the i9 and the newer gens of the i7. (but of course the better processor can at some point not make up a small RAM) Hope that helps 🫶🏼
@@a-men663 yeah I saw some videos about this.. i9 has 16 cores and i5 has 4.. good thing you did your research before investing and now can make better decision bro.. thanks for being kind enough to answer.. and please share link of your work.. would definitely check it out 🤘🏻
Can there be a song without a melody or rhythm? Or is it just a matter of range? Like a elaborate/complex melody and rhythm vs a minimalistic melody and rhythm.
Let me know if I got this right: Melody is the progression of sounds/notes Harmony is the layering of sounds (can be several melodies) Rhythm is the timing of sounds (within melodies) All of them need to exist in a context where the sounds relate to each other or it's just noise. So if all the above is correct, I now just need to understand where Noise (the genre) fits into all of this and I'm good.
Very uneducated in musical theory so this may not make sense: When explaining Rhythm, is it correct to say that changing the duration of a note being played alters rhythum (like for instance in the last example, if you cut the second note bar and remove half of it, and leave the other note bars unchanged, does this change the rhythum? Follow up, if you do the above scenerio (and the pre-cut second note bar is a half note), do you need to add another quarter note to keep the same time signature?
