Thank you so much! I was maniacally checking the interwebs to see if anyone made this song in to karaoke every few weeks for a while but then eventually gave up. Until now. Beautiful piece.
You’re welcome! This song has such a cool, dark, haunting vibe - but also has this weird kind of uplifting feel…like in the darkness there’s hope to be found? I’m glad you’re enjoying it, too! ~JXO
I once played this for my buddy who makes dubplate, King Gualamaine, and was stunned that he seemed to know every word - yeah this song is hype AF! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-crCFRvihus8.htmlsi=fw6uV-dsoubXPL9H

@@JackXOatmon aweee well i love it and you did a great job! would be fun to sing together haha. i did upload a cover and tagged you in the video :). appreciate you providing this gem :). have a blessed evening mate💞🙏🏽
Yeah!! I can’t any day hit the high notes in this; when i realized i had the range, changing the key seemed like a good solution! I’m glad you’re enjoying it
I got misled, mistook, discard Anything that I said See I'm not the type to call you up drunk But I've got some lies to tell She hates her work but loves to flirt It's a shame she don't work with me She gets uptight and don't like when I'm gone But she won't let on to me I said, "I'm only looking out for you" She said, "It's obvious that's a lie" But I only ever put out for you You know it's obvious you don't try I got mistook and took the scent And it's not as if you didn't notice That I tried to steer you clear of this place And wound up with nothing to show for it I end up like that from me She said, "You never got that from me" She said, "You never got that from me" But I feel you got that look from me I said, "I'm only looking out for you" She said, "It's obvious that's a lie" I only ever put out for you You know it's obvious you don't try I said, "I'm only looking out for you" She said, "It's obvious that's a lie" I only ever put out for you You know it's obvious you don't try I got misled, mistook, discard Anything that I said See I'm not the type to call you up drunk But I've got some lies to tell
Hey! I know it's a longshot but I'm proposing to my girlfriend this week (Friday) and had an idea for a backing track (karaoke) for the video I'm showing during it and was wondering if you make these yourself and could take a custom request? It's a Daisy Jones & The Six song; Look At Us Know. You have another karaoke song uploaded on your channel for Kathleen by Catfish and the Bottlemen and in that one it's a piano version. Was wondering if you could do the same here?
@@Hazardelchelsea2017 Not yet - this will be my first album as a singer/songwriter - I have Exec. Produced two albums with Miami Beat Wave; Away From It All (#4 iTunes Pop Charts) and Up Close and Personal (#2 iTunes R&B charts) in the last two years; I do some backup singing and play guitar on a few tracks on those albums You can find the Miami Beat Wave albums on Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, everywhere music is sold or streamed, I believe ;)
@@Hazardelchelsea2017 you can find early references of two songs that may make it on the album on this channel - Thin Line ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-DnHnfdL9IVg.html Grains of Sand ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3MJv48TzbJs.html
@@Hazardelchelsea2017 I do not yet -- my first album will come out in 2023 with @MiamiBeatWave -- I've helped Miami Beat Wave produce two albums (as Co-Executive Producer & sometimes guitar & backup vocals, and a bit of writing): Up Close & Personal (R&B) and Away From It All (Pop), both of which can be found on Spotify and other distributors under the name Miami Beat Wave -- check them out and let me know what you think!
My buddy trey McGriff in Atlanta suggested this band and catfish and the bottlemen; I’ll owe him a debt forever for sharing these bands with me! I may never have discovered Shakey graves, or gotten into music production, if I hadn’t met him and his band at the cosmic cantina in Raleigh, NC! Check out his work on his RU-vid channel, just search “Trey McGriff”!
This is an original song; it was recorded by Miami Beat Wave and me on August 11, 2020 during the Covid lockdowns When I came out of the studio, I said to myself “I never want to pay for studio time again,” and I began building @litprofessionalsstudios Since then we had a reggae track go to number 50, an R&B album go to number two (two songs went to number one) and now we have a pop album that’s been in the top 10 in pre-orders for almost a month. It’s amazing how a small experience changed my life entirely.
@@jakewildfong2213 pretty busy. Tutor GMAT, LSAT, & MCAT during the day, and make music at night; have several other businesses starting up, so I don’t have much time these days. Might ask a friend who understands logic or GarageBand or protools or such to help you.
Uhhhh there’s a “proper” key? Never encountered “proper” key, and I started studying music theory when I was six, brother. Here’s Bono of U2 talking about key, based on advice he got from Robert Plant: ‘Bono's musical regrets aren't just limited to his band, but also his own singing ability. "I only became a singer, like, recently," he said. "Maybe it hasn't happened yet for some people's ears and I understand that." He even recalled a time the late singer Robert Palmer told U2's bassist Adam Clayton in the '80s, "God, would you ever tell your singer to just take down the keys a little bit? He'd do himself a favor, his voice a favor, and he'd do us all a favor who have to listen to him" Bono agreed with that assessment, explaining, "I was thinking out of my body. I wasn't thinking about singing. I didn't really think about changing keys. Did we ever change a key?"’
Ahh yes my bad, could you post this same song, three semitones higher to the original ? That’s what I meant my apologies for lack of knowledge of music and theory
@@jakewildfong2213 might have time for that sometime. If you have GarageBand and iMovie you can download this file and do it pretty easily; it just takes time which I have little of right now. Good luck! 🍀
The deeper you stick it in your vein The deeper the thoughts, there's no more pain I'm in heaven, I'm a god I'm everywhere, I feel so hot It's not ah habit, it's cool, I feel alive If you don't have it, you're on the other side I'm not an addict, maybe that's a lie It's over now, I'm cold, alone I'm just a person on my own Nothing means a thing to me Oh, nothing means a thing to me It's not a habit, it's cool, I feel alive If you don't have it, you're on the other side I'm not an addict, maybe that's a lie
I’ll take a look sometime. I’m working on six different businesses right now; the team I work with has an album dropping july 26 that spent the last month in the top ten in preorders on iTunes, so we may very well drop number one - it might have to wait until august ;)
