No color grading, mostly default settings with most options set to High. Cockpit displays are set to 1024 resolution and I have most traffic and other objects turned up but I don't have a crazy system or anything. I'm just running a 4060ti graphics card coupled with an Intel i5 12600k and MSI Pro B760M
I’m not sure if you can see this but this is almost exactly what I have. I bought most of the parts on different sales throughout the year so it was around $1200. newegg.io/3cfaa68
A lot of it comes down to the pilot's skill and maneuvering not just how capable the aircraft is. This is especially true in close range engagements since a lot of modern combat training is BVR focused. It's also pretty evident which countries practice BFM as well as advanced tactics and which ones only have basic piloting skills.
I feel like the sukoi is a total fake plane. There is no way Russia can make them. They have no micro processors as they are stealing them from appliances like microwaves. Russia is so incompetent. Such a change since before Ukraine 😬how embarrassing. Plus didn’t their amazing battleship sink to a few guys on a Dingy ? Oof.
I’ve been spending a lot of time on the Spitfire the past couple of weeks. I just need some more time to get better acquainted with flight models, limitations, and switchology. I’m improving a bit each time though. I did outrun a friend in an F-18 with the MiG-21 in a guns only dogfight for like 15 minutes at close separation until he finally ran out of rounds, that was pretty satisfying.
Engine stall due to negative G According to DCS 21bis manual, "The pilot can safely fly inverted for 15 seconds with up to 100% RPM, 5 seconds at normal and 3 seconds at emergency afterburner"
Yep exactly, this was my first time flying a combat sortie in the MiG 21 so there were a lot of harsh lessons learned haha. I was mainly just messing around. Yesterday I had a really good run with it. Outran an F18’s cannons for about 15 minutes straight of low level high speed flight through the mountains just feet above the treetops and rocks and I was impressed with myself and that old smokey workhorse, it held its own even though it’s obsolete in so many ways.
Nice gameplay clips man, I don't see too many people using the RPK 12. Nice flying too, definitely worth a like, keep it up! On another note I've started a series called the Bare Bones Challenge and I'd appreciate some feedback, I want to make the best videos I can. Thanks!
