New Videos Every Day. After years of dreaming about it, we sold up and move to Spain to start a brand new life together. scottishcoupleinspain.com
Our Channel is for OUR memories.
The only problem is, the year is 2020 and the world is in "lockdown" and is still rife with c-vid! But this is building up to be the best move we have ever made! Yes, 2020 may go down in the history books as one to forget, but for us, it's the year we decided to change our lives.
From preparing for the big move to Spain, settling in, setting up a new business, and living the Spanish lifestyle, it's all here.
Our journey, our travels, our sightseeing, our food, our drinks, our laughs, and quite possibly tears. Mostly of joy.
Oh, and we have an amazing, beautiful Springer Spaniel who is daft as a brush and she is joining us on our big adventure! Stay tuned and make sure you subscribe to our channel. :)
Portugal is so much more friendly to Brits. Been to Spain many times but not so keen now. Thanks for the insight into a quiet Benidorm. Nice sandy beach here in Portobello although the weather is pish.
Tourist tax, visas coming, more passport controls for non eu countries, and of course not forgetting people in the uk are struggling with cost of living, i enjoyed your video mind, i do like Benidorm, and surrounding towns.
Sí, mucha gente hace eso. Y ellos toman lecciones y tratan de aprender el idioma, como nosotros. Aprendiendo todo el tiempo. Sorry if that’s not correct, but we are learning 😉☺️
Its nothing to do with it being to hot although it can be very hot ,its nothing to do with tourist tax or anto tourist stuff , its the hotel prices they have priced themselves out of the market , I often go to Benidorm but noticed this year that a two week holiday all inclusive in a certain hotel for four is almost double in august compared to September . Turkey has done this but they did it quicker and earlier , people are not fools and will find another destination , watch Turkey next year it will be on its arse even more than usual , Spain will also go that way unless they buck thier ideas up , consider the Spanish were farmers and friut growers a few years ago , kill tourisum and they will soon be back there.
We went there yesterday, and it was open! Massive portions, I had the “Glasgow Chinese Chicken Curry” 😂😂 and Rhubarb Crumble 👅, both were big enough for 2 people
Wednesdays are generally a change over day apparently and August can be quieter than other months for Brits. It was very busy with Spanish holiday makers and it will start to get back to normal mayhem now.
No, as part of the Brexit withdrawal agreement we just needed to swap them over. We did the Spanish medical test (basic eyesight, and a reaction test which is like playing an 80’s computer game!).
Another great video guys, that place is just down the road from us, will definitely try when we're back over soon. Keep the videos coming, they cheer up a fellow Scot in the usually dismal weather, though it's actually nice today.
Nahhh....... i had wee fish , whitebait i think , in Catral a few years back at the restaurant that has the bulls heeds on the wall.........freaked me right oot.......the fish..no the bulls heeds' . ;-)
I love Tapas, I’d be hard pressed to disagree with your choice. The queso looked amazing as did the fish. I’m thinking that might be a next weeks night out. You both look so happy.😊
Im just back from Benidorm on the 17th ( 4th time this year ) ive been coming for 30 years, several times a year and i an tell you now, it wasnt quiet, i dont know what time you filmed this but anybody who knows Benidorm, knows that the strip desnt get going till after dark. Yes theres barz with stuff going on during the day but, most people go elsewhere during daytime. So.e of the pu s n lubs o British square dont close u til 7 & 8 o'clock in the morning.
