My videos serve as supplements to my blog which you can find by visiting sunnysideofthepath.com. My blog details experiences I've had traveling through life with God by my side. I hope you will join me there for encouragement, inspiration, and adventure. Let's walk life’s pathways together with our Creator.
"You will show me the path of life; in Your presence is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore." - Psalm 16:1
We bought our tickets from a little coffee/snack shop attached to the airport just outside the airport doors at Terminal 1. If you exit the airport near the area where the line queues up for cabs and Ubers, the shop is not far from the exterior doors. Local buses line up near there, but the Cotral (blue buses) are a bit further down and to the left of those exit doors and coffee shop (near Terminal 3). There aren’t any signs about where to purchase tickets, so just walk up and ask. I’ve heard that you can also buy tickets on the actual buses after boarding, as well. The tickets are a bit more expensive that way but not bad. I hope that helps!
My poor, single dad would take us here to observe from street level. (We never went down to the sand because that would be disturbing the wildlife.) Thank you for this! It transported me to when I was a child and my parents had recently divorced and a practically penniless papa would bring my brother here in an attempt to cheer us up! 🥲
I’m so glad this video transported you back in time to beautiful memories. Thank you so much for sharing your story. Never forget those special moments. Every day is a gift! ❤
I’m so glad, Sherri! Me, too!!! Be sure to look for my video with the sea lions, too. They were just around the corner from the birds. Seeing these guys in person was a bit surreal! It was like watching NatGeo LIVE. I could have watched them all day long.
Absolutely breathtaking! Gorgeous! Thank you so much! Your amazing video makes me realize it’s time to take a break from Vancouver for a couple of weeks and come and walk, hike, dine out, in gorgeous Northern California!! Peace!
I'm so glad you liked the video, Christine. It hardly captures the beauty and tranquility we felt while visiting this amazing park. Torrey Pines is actually in Southern California - about an hour north of San Diego. It was our first time visiting California and we absolutely loved it. I hope you can travel there soon, too!
Thank you for your kind comment! As my pastor friend said, "The Good Samaritan extended mercy because he had experienced God’s mercy, just like you guys have." We always try to help however we can. If you're interested, I wrote a blog post about this experience that you can read about here: sunnysideofthepath.com/2024/01/19/were-samaritans-pursers/. That's my main purpose of posting videos here - to use them to supplement my blog which you can find at sunnysideofthepath.com/blog/. 😃
