God gets the vengeance. Repent. You will all pay for how you treat innocent people, putting them in solitary confinement, no feeding them or giving them a drink. By a man who never been in trouble, yet, the officers and officers of the court decided to rough-house him, and put him in jail for 5 days for addressing the Supreme Court. Your presentations are great for the proposed projects. My only complaint is the Microphone puffing from the presenters is very distracting. Might you consider putting a wind cover for the microphone since the presenters can't seem to stop getting so close to the microphone.
the problem is the engineers are stupid,, if you went offshore about 400 or 500 yards and build a manmade reef so the waves break out there instead of beating up the shoreline,,, so all you stupid people who went to college cant figure it out, someone needs to prove how stupid you are.
Add to (mitigatable) side-effects of beach "renourishment": Shark attacks via 1) direct access channels (esp to areas between "sandbars"), and 2) bait-fish populations created near recent dredging
One of my big concerns is when I'm coming out of Birchwood and I cannot see around parked trucks because there's a slight curve in the road .... Next to the road, is a large parking area that's not used very often by anybody and wonder if that would be a possibility for trucks to park there?
Could you please either get new microphones, wind covers or train presenters to understand they don't need to say all "P" words into the microphone, they keep puffing the microphones and it's very irritating. This keeps happening and very noticeable to the viewer, they should not speak so directly into the microphone.
Thanks for you guys sitting through a Budget meeting... I use to be a relief Budget Analyst for a few years working with a Federal Government Agency. I hope you know there are many out here that have no idea what you go through to run this city but we do appreciate it. The presenters did very well on the slides and presentations.
I approve of the Start with the Prayer and the Salute to the flag...!!!! On the proposals and the vote I can see change is not always the best move but the church needed this and the community should have worked with and/or helped the church to raise monies if they wanted the land use not changed. If a church is in need and the community bands together to raise money the whole area would help, that's who we are around here in VB. I only now heard about this. God bless us all. I hope it works out for all.

The main concern is the community did not find out about this until after the church privately went into a 3 year contract with the developer. They were never given a chance (and would have supported if they could) to help the church. This is about the developer wanting to build homes on open space. Great Neck Estates supports the church regardless. Thank you for wanting to learn about this ongoing development!
Instead of collective bargaining I would suggest to give the amount this would cost as an increase in salaries of the personnel involved. This would help the city and employees better than having a union to dictate to the city and that cost is a negative where the increase in salaries would be a positive.
What a joke & a farce. Virginia Beach is not a city. Norfolk is the real city of that region and these racist scumbags transformed their counties into fake pseudo cities that are nothing more than endless miles of single family homes to prevent annexation into Norfolk a city with a large African-American plurality if not majority. Virginia Beach is nothing more than a racist fabrication. It is a "transcity" an abomination. A suburb pretending to be a city. The embarrassment was so great they went as far as fabricating a fake downtown in the middle of a shopping mall call the Virginia Town Center. No real mass transit no middle Urban housing . But less than a quarter mile away you see nothing more than single family home exclusive communities. If Virginia Beach is really serious about being a major city , a focused heavy Urban Development alarm a large uniform Urban grid. Instead, it's an endless ocean of exclusive single family home communities in multiple cul-de-sacs 😂😂😂😂
I think this could potentially be a really great idea depending on the stops and how much distance between each thing, it would have to be at least a ten mile trail ! But I can’t imagine the price of the crosswalk over independence ever being worth it
How about the psychological test? How about the ability to legally pro file somebody to approach somebody who may be have a problem it’s not demand idea what ID is not necessary to understand not every single person you meet is a criminal if I was the man that ID just sitting somewhere late at night I wouldn’t give it. I would take the arrest sometimes people want to be left alone at three in the morning if you’re sitting on a park bench or they’re sitting on the hood of a car, not breaking the law. If the park is supposed to be closed tell him you can’t get a ID. If someone just sitting somewhere 3 o’clock in the morning, that’s what you want people to do not do this bullshit promotional video
We very much appreciate the City's efforts on this and the cost efficiencies of the council. It's a lot to pay for us fixed income families but as you know we want to recycle in Virginia Beach. I recommend trying harder to find another recycle company or negotiate a better contract and/or other ways to sell or maybe the city can find a way to use the products collected. There are a lot of smart people ask the citizens of our city for ideas of how to use the recycle waste.
