Back in the early-to-mid 2000s, before RU-vid, Facebook, and even MySpace, there were designers on communities like Heavengames.com creating cinematics (machinima) from the game Age of Mythology. At the time, the only way to view them was to have Age of Mythology installed and play through the game. Suffice to say, it would be a shame to lose a lot of the work and talent that was exhibited in the early 2000s of the internet, so this is an attempt to go back and archive much of these works before the game is no longer available to play them on.
This channel was started by and mainly managed by pftq, a former designer in the AOM community at Heavengames.com. If anyone else wants to help manage and upload cinematics to the channel, just let me know.
Thanks for posting this video. Hard to believe I made that cinematic 20 years ago! Brings back memories. Never thought I'd see it again so I'm thankful you took the time to post it. With Retold recently out, it's awfully tempting to try to do an updated version for old times sake. I'm a little older now, less free time, but who knows what the future will bring!
This brings back memories. One of the first custom scenarios I played and certainly among the best. Everything created by Oscar was a masterpiece. I wondering what he's up to these days.

I absolutely loved every second of this video! 4:55 was my favourite part. It's brilliant👏👏👏 but I gotta say, the ending was unexpected!! Prometheus enters the the arena :D
