You mentioned that reviews can be removed if a guest lies. However that has not been my experience. I had a guest leave me 3 stars saying there was no local support, however I do have a local property manager that the guest contacted. Airbnb said this does not violate their guidelines.
This was a good video and most of the info is correct. A couple of minor corrections, when you have a short term rental and material participation, that doesn't qualify you for real estate professional status, but it is a similar exception that also lets you deduct the losses against your other income (but it's reported differently on your tax forms). In the section on depreciation, just to clarify, you always want to claim the deprecation regardless of real estate professional status. The only difference is that loss beyond your rental income would just end up carried forward until you can use it to offset future income from the rental, or when you sell it.

You can create multiple host accounts. ABNB does not care. I know a Host who creates new accounts every week to banish multiple bad reviews in 2 flop houses he runs in Dallas.
I am not sure about the unpaid reservation but the guest expectation is very true what you said. Guests expected to have the same quality as hotel for a much lower price :)

For whoever needs to hear this... I've used Guesty for three years and I'm switching right now because their software DOUBLE-BOOKED my rental three separate times and would never help at all. So, I had to manage unhappy people and cancel bookings because Guesty's system kept doing this- I'm done with them now and switching
My biggest pet peeve is low quality duvets in rentals. Thin, plastic feeling blankets and comforters have become the norm. I get wanting to save money but it costs more in the long run because guests have to jack up the heat on cooler nights to compensate for the lack of warmth from the bedding. If you respect your guests, at the very least spend $50 on a halfway decent down alternative comforter at Home Goods. Charging someone to sleep on something you got on clearance at Dollar General is almost disrespectful to your guests.
