Psalm 100:1-5 KJV "Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all ye lands. Serve the LORD with gladness: Come before his presence with singing. Know ye that the LORD he is God: It is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; We are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, And into his courts with praise: Be thankful unto him, and bless his name. For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; And his truth endureth to all generations."
I am so thankful to God for the piano player this really touched my heart. I was trying to listen to someone singing or playing this song. I love this song it's one of my favorite songs. I love most of the older songs. I thank God for those songs.
What is your name? When I follow the links it seems to be Michael. Michael: this is quite wonderful. There are a trio of singers where I live, in Northern Ireland, called The Three Priests who I once heard singing Joy To The World unaccompanied on radio. I have never been able to hear to them singing it again. Every other rendition is accompanied by syruppy instrumental that detracts from the impact of the voices and the harmonies. What a clever thing to do to sing them separately, then weave them together. I saw this after seeing you doing the same for Holy, Holy, Holy, a hymn whose bass and tenor parts I have known since school, and which are better than the main tune. Ben
Thanks for your comment, Ben! Yes, my name is Michael. I’m glad that you’ve enjoyed the music! I originally started making these as teaching videos, but have started doing them simply because I enjoy them! God bless you over there in Ireland!
I wasn’t brought up in a Christian home having lived with my Mum, grandparents and brother, but I sang this song for my very first sacred solo during Eisteddfods as a 10 year old. At that age, I had decided that if my future self enjoyed Justin Bieber music or became a Christian, I would be very disappointed in her. I went on a holiday to another state that same year where I drove past a building that was unfortunately not a giant playground, but instead a church, which I found very underwhelming. 7 years later, I was baptised in that same church and later sang this song on their worship team. God has a plan. 🤍
Thank you for this! So helpful for me learning to contribute beauty to the worship service even though I'm not a great singer. Singing my God given part makes it less noticeable. 😂
