i went to rockfest 2024 to see beartooth, from ashes to new, atreyu, and shinedown. it was the same thing. The small outside stages were good but acoustics were "meh". The mainstage was a sea of chairs and people nodding. I stood in the back and did my own thing. plus the speakers in the back were a second behind the actual screens and was just really bad. Atreyu wanted a circle pit and crowd surfing and they had to stop their song because no one did anything. The bands were an 8.5/10. The fest's experience was a 3/10.

I discovered Ren in January or February of this year. My top 5 artists this year according to RU-vid Music's wrapped that just came out over the weekend were Ren, Bad Religion, Beck, Streetlight Manifesto, and The Big Push. My top 5 songs were all Ren and The Big Push lol.
This is Maiden’s original singer, Paul Di’Anno, who sang on the first two albums. Those are my favorite Iron Maiden albums and Paul is my favorite singer. The songs “Remember Tomorrow” and “Strange World” are my favorite songs. They had to let Paul go after the Killers album because his alcohol and cocaine use was affecting his singing performance on tour. Stick to studio versions when doing the first two Albums as you really get to hear Paul’s beautiful voice.

Hi guys I'm a huge Ren fan from the UK. I'm also a massive fan of Angelina Jordan from Norway. I first came across her in 2014 on ngt. She was 7 years old singing Gloomy Sunday and my mind was blown. I've followed her ever since doing covers of artists from every genre. But each cover She does she changes up and makes it her own. Her cover of Bohemian Rapsody on agt the champions at 13 years old is unbelievable and I recomend you check it out. Even Simon Cowell was amazed.
Ren isn't an addict. He's actually very sick. He was given useless meds for a misdiagnosis. He got sicker. He was desperate to live. His faith was challenged, but he's still here. I think that unless you have lived with chronic pain, especially if it's misdiagnosed or unexplained, you can't know much it can wear you down and make you wonder about your ability to survive it. Please understand that it takes tremendous faith just to get through each day sometimes. It takes a deep well of strength. Ren is no quitter. 🖤
I don't know if he realized, but he has Lyme disease in, he stays very sick and in pain a lot and is really hard for him to make music that he loves. And it's kind of what the song is about a little, but hes like a storyteller and every song kind of connects together so.
A BIG difference between the UK and the US, is that most Brits aren't religious. Ren has said that he's not religious but that he enjoys religious imagery. I think Ren's employing it here to emphasise that feeling of losing faith in almost EVERYTHING, religious or otherwise. :)
Every single song is something different. He is the only musician that puts all his talents in his music. He has many, so the songs are diverse. He is not you boring rapper because that is all he can do.
His pain isn't his EXCUSE, it is his life! Right now after 13 yrs off and on with pain and illness that is a daily struggle he is still trying to get some relief. He is still in Canada getting treatment to try to live a normal life. He will be going through some heavy aggressive treatment and will be down for a while. He has many songs you have never heard where he raps fast with many bars. Those he is flexing, this one he is getting a message across not trying to flex at all, he is portraying a couple of people/personalities in this song. It takes 2 sec. to look up these references you struggle with. I'm American and it is embarrassing saying I don't know what he means because he is British. Look it up to educate yourself, it sounds conceited.
This song will be on his new album that’s about to drop in a few weeks(Sick Boi). It’s a rap album. Ren wanted to make one. And now it’s only sitting at the #2 spot on the UK charts for pre sold albums. In between Ed Sheeran at 3, and The Rolling Stones at 1. A Ren sandwich 😂

ALL Rens stuff is deep , there are messages and metaphors sprinkled throughout , along with references , callbacks , and showcasing his way with his love of music , we should really be surrendering our thoughts on GENRE and letting a master of the craft guide us , after all Ren has put so much work into his achievements , his genius is there for anyone to behold , i gotta be honest , im not really a music fan , i gave up years ago and yet i follow Rens every move , why , he is the only bright star in the heavens at the moment , or ever , im old i know LOTS of music , Ren,s is ... well its super extremely of historical importance special , and is going to surpass the greats , forget GENRE go with Ren,s guts .
