@@yeyem6678 There aren’t that many stores nearby as it is within a business district. However there is a subway station nearby and getting transportation there is really accessible.
Great video but I think you definitely need to try out Yakitori 1 down Cardiff bay and make a video please 🙏 as it is by far the best in wales everything in that place is super tasty, top quality and cooked to perfection 😊
Great concise review! Wish you could have spoken more about the seat. Was it comfortable? Did you get a good few hours of sleep? And was there an in-flight magazine?
@@dinewithastin Gone are the days of in-flight airline magazines. I used to look forward in reading them on flights and seeing the different routes I can dream of flying to.
I have a question....if I am flying to Cathay Pacific Premium Econonmy from Toronto , Canada to Hong Kong (en route to Manila) , are you allowed to access their lounges? Is it free...the food?
@@renantebarroga6154 Are you part of Cathay Pacific’s membership program? If so there is a possibility that you might have access depending on membership level. But if you just bought the premium economy ticket and are not part of their membership, I don’t think you have access to the lounge. The food in the lounges if you have access to it, is free.
@@renantebarroga6154 A big benefit of the membership is the possible seat upgrades and also you are able to get mile points which can be exchanged for stuff. But these points can be earned not just from flying cathay pacific but with most of the "One World" airlines.

@@happymoments7419 There is a leg rest with a flip out foot rest. However you will have to bend your legs in order to rest your foot on it as the overall leg rest isn’t that long.
Lack of food options happen in both PE and Economy, the most ridiculous part is the fight attendants actually asked the passengers to complain to Cathay on their behalf
Unfortunately, I don't believe you get lounge access from sitting in premium economy. However, like I did, I got lounge access through Cathay's membership scheme. I plan to make a video to talk more about this in the future. Hope that helps :)
I find it hard to believe that Cathay could run out of a food product for premium economy as they should be served before economy & therefore have plenty of product. There are not that many seats in premium economy this shouldn't have happened.
That's a fair point, I too am extremely shocked by this and was quite disappointed. I will be going on another flight on Cathay Pacific's premium economy soon and hopefully the same won't happen again.
@@eldan90 Hey! I hope you enjoy your stay there next year as much as I did. I also do enjoy collecting some G-Shocks and I believe this is the GMW-B5000MB-1
Unfortunately it doesn’t go down completely flat. However, after trying it out myself, I can say the back of the seat and the leg rest allows the seat to move to approximately a 45 degree angle.
New to your channel (and greetings from down under, Australia).... A great flight review, CX has definitely improved their service levels, shame about breakfast. If you want to experience what I believe in the best premium economy offering, try flying Air New Zealand, they've won awards for their PE product👍
For this “newer” plane with this seat design, I believe all the window seats are forward facing. However, in some of the older planes the windows are actually backward facing. I am currently working on a video (will come out soon) of one of their older planes where this is the case.
British airways struggles to get a proper business class experience in business . The new business class is an improvement . The previous , still existing , is horrible. Their first class is en par at best QSuites . I svoid BA as the plague .
I didn’t use the WiFi on the plane but I believe they charge a one time fee which varies on how long your flight is and whether or not you want the basic WiFi for texting or the one for browsing the internet. Here is a link to their website where they discuss it in more detail: www.britishairways.com/content/information/entertainment/wifi-on-board Hope that helps!
Was super good considering it was theme park food as most of the time themed foods are mainly focused on their themed aesthetic. The curry filling definitely was amazing.
