I think this is the first time I've seen a DIY conversion with a skateboard platform instead of the usual cramming batteries in the trunk and under the hood.
I have a 2002 honda civic lx 1.7 with the key in the on position not cranking just on , the fuel pump stays priming and wont shut off, any ideas if it might be the main relay ..? Ive checked the blue relay and brown relay behind the glove compartment and they seem to be doing their job , please help
Great video. I've got all of that working as you mentioned in the video but pin 7 (relay to fuel pump). I checked it with the red probe to pin seven and black probe to ground and turned the key on but still no volts reading. Did I do it wrong or I've got a stuffed up relay or something? Thanks
I have a 00ex with a 00 GSR swap. Currently running the OEM EX harness, it doesn’t have the crank position sensor on the harness to connect to the sensor near the crank. So I’m getting a p1362 code. Do these rywire harness have the crank position sensors on them? (I am using an OBD2-OBD1 adapter to run my OBD1 s300 ecu
Exactly what I needed to find, Now I get to go out and figure this out on a 93' Accord. New fuel pump, Filter and relay but no fuel pump working. I know the pin 1 power is connected and always hot. Hopefully I'll find it now that I know where and how to look. Thanks for this video
Merci monsieur...Traduction en français..Is it the same process for a Honda jazz 2005 ..I have the same problem. Can you help me Sir. MERCI Monsieur.. How to find this swith and where is it situated..Merci... Watching from France... Monsieur..
For those asking, you need the sub harness. After you install it (92 Si), you will see that the harness needs to connect to connections under the dash. My question is about the extra wires. Are the other ends pinned to the ecu connectors, and if so, which ones?
Only thing I don’t understand is why I need a chassis adaptor for my 95 civic hatch. I thought the harness just plugged into my ecu. So I do absolutely need that chassis connector ?
Yeah you need it thats why its $85 extra at the checkout list of specification when looking at the engine harnesses or $150 if you looking for it seprately
Is it bad if u constantly pull it out to prevent theft ?? And is that relay grounded to the car ? Aski g so i dont have to constantly unscrew it just to pull it...can it just sit lose on side of glove box ??
Obd2 vtec b series harness.forget about the vtec plugs.theyll be there for future .or if its time to sell your harness youll have buyers..versus parting out and selling a tucked harness with no vtec plugs wouldnt sell..
I have an obd2 ek4 civic body, and I have the big blue distributor plug coming out of the body harness coming out from behind the wipers. Anyone have any idea what it is. Trying to plug in my obd1 b16a into this obd2 civic but my obd1 harness doesnt have this blue plug.
