Love the content. Please in the future, either mute your microphone or get a cover for it. The constant background noise is annoying. Also, there’s no need to keep saying “right” etc. all the time when the guest is speaking
oh boy is my face red with embarrassment! I was worried about my puppy's lack of barking but it just makes sense! Gun dog! Thank you for the explanation!
Somif dogs cant digest milk then how on earth can they digest the mothers milk? And believe me the mothers milk is ACTUAL MILK that contains lactose also. And i jist read on a website that puppies have more of the enzyme than adult dogs. At the end of the day you studied these things in a text book.... you do not actually "know" and yet society gives you a degree and certificate and calls you a VET. When in reality you know very little
Thanks for the video Larry! Love the way you explain and give specific examples, it's really helpfull. We have two dogs one is a German Shepherd mixed with a husky age of 7 which was taken as a puppy from a breader and the other one is a Canaan street dog estimated as 8 years old, which was adopted when she was around 2. Both of them are females. The Canaan is very submissive and whenever the German Shepherd was getting into her space or trying to dominate her, we didn't interfere unless it was too much, for the same reasons you've mentioned you did with your first dog. But lately we're experiencing an escalation - they started jumping on each others throats, cause the Canaan had enough and she started to react more aggressively whenever the Shepherd gets into her space and the Shepherd who up to that point didn't react to it started to react aggressivelly which every time turns into a violent fight. My queistion to is: Can a bad behaviour be corrected at any age? Can resource guarding can be stopped at any age? And how to solve the problem?
I have a 18 month old cocker spaniel. Off late he has become very aggressive towards me and my daughter. I had a 15 year old blue stappeshire terrior He never barked and the veterinarian told me he didn't feel the need to bark. So now I'm home babysitting my nephew pit bully and she doesn't bark. She is 3 months old . But I noticed she kinda does this whining thing she sounds really hoarse.
Hi Larry! Big fan of yours! My pup is resource guarding. My husband and I have him in classes for obedience training and some private classes to help the issue. He definitely needs some more training and practice but has come far. He is a 5 month old Belgian Malinois. If I see he’s displaying the resource guarding I will be extremely cautious and offer him something of higher value so he will release what he’s chewing with no issues. If I’m sitting on the couch or on the floor he will come find me and chew the toy or bone on my lap. Does this mean he’s getting more comfortable with me and his behavior is improving? Or is this a negative behavior I need to stop? Thank you in advance and thank you for all your videos!
