This volunteer led group is sponsored by a nonprofit horse rescue that believes every horse deserves a second chance no matter where they have ended up. Second Chance Stables Inc has volunteered at this kill pen for a couple years and they are now leading this group to help half of the horses at Gary Luck’s kill pen in Asheboro NC. These animals have ended up in one of the worst kill pens in the country and without volunteer intervention to find them homes they will ship to slaughter. The slaughter pipeline is a horrific experience for horses and no way to die for an animal who has sacrificed their lives serving humans. We are the voice for the voiceless. Please help us spread awareness of these animals so they can find homes before it’s too late.
Something about him speaks to me...yes he has traveled some rough roads in his life, through no fault of his own ..but he's still a wonderful horse and he deserves to have a wonderful new home where he is loved and cherished. Many thanks to his rescuers for saving him and all of the other horses you have rescued as well. If people are interested in buying him, who do they contact, and what is the process involved with buying him if they are possibly interested in doing so. 🐎❤️
It would be cool to get update videos on some of these horses, see how they are after a recovery period with better feed, hoof trims, medical treatment.
If the horse wasn't that healthy to ride then whhy do I see someone riding her around the yard area back and forth? I thought you where there to help horses
Shouldn't be riding him with such a bad back! Poor guy is so confused and probably in pain. What a good boy. He deserves a good home that will help him and not immediately ride him
