Just picked up my first $30 SXL A0. Cleaned it up and new crank seals. Hope it cuts as good as yours when the new bar and chain get here. Thanks for the videos!!
Ira, would you mind sharing details on your bucking spikes. I have two of these craftsman 3.3 saws and love them. I would be interested in a template or info if you retrofitted the spikes. I enjoy your videos and greatly appreciate your time. Tom
It would basically take a miracle, the low top kits haven't been available for 10+ years probably and the popularity was limited. Honestly if you find one in good condition the saw is probably in mint condition or it was a new take off. Buying one in good condition is close to the price of the G395XP saw effectively doubling the price of the clone.
@@iraagans3144 seems like those craftsman saws are becoming popular in that year range from what I'm seeing on the forum. That one is definitely a screamer.
@@iraagans3144 yeah. I assume for small trees where there isn’t room for the bar and wedge in the back cut at the same time. Top Branch has one they call the palm tree cut to allow the wedge to pass thru.
