Great driving; way to make those tires work! The g-force meter in Harry's Laptimer Pro is calibrated off of the iPhone accelerometer, so regardless of the GPS signal/rate, the g-meter is at least consistent. re: lap time... you can do better ;) I did a 2:02.74 in May w you right behind me - a virtual tie with your Sunday best. And if you recall, that was the first hot lap of the session, and I had a tire advantage. You're quicker than 2:02 (and me) with the right tires!
Good stuff! Your lines are generally MUCH better this event! Also, you might consider running the camera in the car (behind the driver) so you can see your inputs. At this point, data will also help you improve - and a decent data box is way under the cost of a set of tires.
Cool - I've virtually raced the Birkin/Lotus3 in GT5 (PS3) and they are quite a handful compared to our GT cars (M3, GT3). Not sure why that particular Noble M12 is so slow at MSR - I can keep up to it in the E46 M3 with a 30% power/weight disadvantage !
hah... "limped out"? lol... I had too much tire pressure in my Pirelli P Zero's as the day went from cold to hot out there.. just didn't feel 100% in the corners, and I needed a cool-down lap so not to jump off track with hot brakes... But I enjoyed the test sessions out there that day, and great footage! thanks! You seem to have the track down great! :D
