Where did u buy your mariner 4 boat and the motor? I bought the mariner 3 at canadian tire yesterday. Not sure if its comfortable for 2 adults and 2 young kids. I like your mariner 4 setup
I also picked up a mariner 3. Pretty crowded rowing with 3 adults. The mariner 4 is an extra 12-15 inches longer and about 8 inches wider and holds 1300lbs vs 880 lbs.
I can't stop watching this video it is so amazing, I just ordered a mariner 4 and canopy, this video is mainly the reason! do you think 2hp is too low for big swells/ tides if it gets too rough? do you reckon it would hold 6 hp or 4hp??

Hey just curious, how do ya know if the keel is inflated properly? I've never done it before and don't want to over do it. Got it on a boat trailer so I can't tell how much air I've added lol
Always liked the look of the Marina 4 but due to the lack of easier portability solutions like putting fold away transom wheels on with a front a handle I declined buying it. Looks a great boat if your setting up right next to the water side but that's it.
No, and their range safety personnel are really nice. They are very willing to help you out and provide a safe environment while your shooting. They also have excellent Trap and Skeet ranges, and a wonderful clubhouse where you can order breakfast and lunch. Not the fanciest place, but neat and clean with very reasonable rates.
As a rule of thumb, 12V trolling motors will use around 1 amp of power per pound of thrust. So that particular one will probably use around 55 amp/hrs per hour at full throttle. Unless you're bucking a heavy wind or current, you'll get more range at a lower speed. Personally I use a 75 amp/hour AGM Deep Cycle. They are sealed, which seems very preferable for an inflatable. The other option is Lithium, which costs seversl times as much but generally have more charge and will maintain their output til almost completely drained.
@@kurtwpgI agree with your comments. I have an optima 55 Amp/hr, AGM deep cycle battery. From what I have read it should give me 1 or more at maximum speed (5), about 2 hrs at mid velocity (3) and a lot at lowest speed (1), like 6-8 hrs. I have personally used it for 2 hrs below speed 3 without problems, but just to be safe.
I have nearly the same set up. just bought the bimini and went to install it this weekend, but my mariner 4 (just purchased a couple months ago) doesn't have the "double hole" thing on the rope holders! does yours? how did you attach the 2 bow part to the side? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I recently bought the same exact setup. My review of the canopy is on Amazon where I used carabiners to attach the canopy to the rope (one on each side of the rope holder) so the canopy stays stable. Also, FYI, the canopy is backwards in this video and should be attached to the forward rope holder, that way you can use the oars.
