Simple facts - highly underrated band, more talent between the THREE of them than 2 or 3 other bands combined that played that day, and style that captivated their audience. TRIUMPH deserves to be in the Hall of Fame.

Im born in 99 my dad was not a hair metal guy hes born 61 grew up in SoCal coast and in the 80s he was a rocker he did however like some Van Halen (NOT VAN HAGAR ! Jkjk) but not hair metal specifically and my mom born in 73 in Tijuana Mexico and was new wave /goth/pop chick she did however love Bon Jovi and some Guns N’ Roses songs . I love hair metal. I love the style the hair the music I watched rock of ages and fell in love with hair metal. 🤘🏽
I was there. I was 14 years old and right up front getting smashed in the crowd. It was awesome. Triumph rocked. So did the Scorpions. Priest were really good too. Ozzy was decent. Motley was okay. Quiet Riot was surprisingly good. Van Halen was a hot mess. I'll never forget that day.
I believe in the freedom to make this song but the hypocrisy of society is that if you replace church with other religious building then its hate speech and never be allowed on radio..
