Tip number one turn off your propane anytime you are traveling. In a class A or C ir B+ shut down the electricity to the coach while driving. Your food in the fridge will stay cold 4 to 6 hours if you dont keep opening the door. Maybe more if your freezer is full. Propane refrigerators are blamed as the cause of many on road rv fires. Turn it off while driving.
propane turns to vapor because of pressure drop not tank volume if your stove is tank side of your stove your blead or purge isn’t going to work so the last appliance in line is what you bleed with anf if your fridge is last then your just going to have to be patient
The propane tank level sensor detects the level of liquid propane in the tank via an ultrasonic transducer which transmits through the tank's metal bottom. No connection to propane is made, nor "sent to your phone".
I've got one, a fb model. I love mine. Has lots of storage under the bed. I have a 12 volt cooler type fridge under the bed. A 190 watt solar panel that keeps everything charged up. I've used it for as long as 2 weeks straight.
The final tip is absolutely right but the explanation is wrong. There is no more surface area on a tank that is 3/4 full (of liquid propane) than there is on a tank that is 1/4 full. What is happening is this: Unless completely empty, a propane tank is 100% filled with some ratio of propane liquid and propane gas. It is the pressurized propane gas that runs generators and appliances. As the tank empties, there is less liquid, leaving more more space that must be filled with pressurized gas. A larger space takes longer to pressurize, particularly when it is cold and "evaporation" slows. The combination of low liquid level and cold temps can create a situation where propane is being burned faster than it is replenished in the tank. Keeping a tank filled reduces the space that must be pressurized, and warming the propane tanks will speed evaporation to pressurize the space faster.
Can propane get too old to use? If an RV sits for several years with a lot of propane in its tanks, is it still okay to use or will it do damage to your appliances and furnace? Thank you.
I have a old trailer and the regulator is already been replaced on it once before now no gas gets to the hot water heater at all and barely enough flame on the stove I mean like it's on real low do I need to replace the regulator again
