thanks for the review. Have you by chance seen the Bruno Marc Men's Casual Dress Sneakers Skate Shoes ? They're only $40 and look the same. It would be great to do a comparison of the two.
@@alexiscuarezma I have reviewed a Bruno Mark shoes in the past and while they are a cheaper option and budget friendly, the quality is nowhere near the quality of Thursday. Thursday utilizes real leather out of reputable tanneries. Bruno Mars utilizes synthetic leather. I think both brands do a great job, but if you want something that’s going to last a little bit longer you may want to invest in Thursday.
Heard of Proper Cloth but havent tried them yet. Have gone MTM before both online and in store. Agree that online can be good. Question - can you adjust the rise on dress trousers?
@@CHamm7806 thanks for for watching! If you decide to give them a shot, be sure to go up a half size if you have a wider foot. Toe box can run a bit small at times. 👍🏼
@@Crewbythat’s pretty awesome. I’ve definitely seen them around and watched some reviews. May have to join the club and do my own review for next summer. Thanks man!
I bought High Top Premier Sneaker in Tobacco. Its leather is super tough and caused blisters on my feet even after 1-2 mths of me trying to break it in. Don’t waste your money on it. Online reviews are mostly bs….
That’s unfortunate that happened to you. It sounds like you may have just ordered a size too small (which is common). Did you try another size after returning them? As for reviews online, I beg to differ from your opinion. The leather comes from reputable tanneries and it’s assembled with quality materials. Some of the best leather reviewers have spoken to how high the quality is along with the price point. Sounds like you just had a bad experience.
Thursday boots have become the fast fashion of the leather world. Because their boots are so cheap that you end up buying more than you need, when you would probably be better off buying one expensive nice pair of boots.
@@moiceslopez8788 I respect your opinion but I would have to disagree with you. Thursday still offers great quality for the price. Although I agree with quality over quantity, it doesn’t mean just because something is expensive it equals high quality. Thanks for sharing!
5:06 sizing issue is definitely something to be careful of with Thursday products. As a warning, I bought their online-reccomended size and thought I was breaking in a tight-feeling shoe. The shoe was too small and Thursday did not refund/stand behind their online rec. Getting the wrong Thursday size can be a costly mistake.
Hi Lantz, we have the same size, US 10 (43 EU), but I think my feet are a bit wider. Do you recommend sticking with my current size, or should I consider going up to a US 10.5?
😂😂😂😂 I was specifically referring to a Men’s Warehouse suit. Basically getting at the quality has been fine because I’m not sure if their fabrics have declined recently or not. Love the fact you’ve had yours for so long!! Where is it from if, if you don’t mind me asking?
What is it with so called premium shoe makers always producing narrow sneakers. Paul Smith and Gucci are better in this regard. Crown Northampton are the best. Avoid Alexander McQueen sneakers at all costs very narrow and hard.
I wouldn’t clump all of the brands in that category. There are some really good premium brands that have wider toe boxes. But yes, many do have narrow toe boxes unfortunately. Thanks for the heads up on the other brands!!
Hi Lantz, I agree with your favorite channels. I there are some great ones on your list! would unquestionably add “Men’s Fashioner” (Ashley Weston) to this list of best channels for Men’s fashion. She is really good, and she brings great experience and a female perspective that can be very helpful. Keep bringing the great content. - David
@@davidpohlman8624 thank you so much! Yes, she does do a great job and it was tough to narrow down to 5! I wanted to try and introduce 1-2 different channels to my viewers that not everyone may know. Thank you for the feedback and thanks for the kind words!
@lantzkulp they covered the important stuff early, with good guides. Now it's a lot of advertisements and filler episodes. Why's everyone got to shill perfumes and watches and ancilliaries so much?? Personally, I also hate all the awkward cutaway and jokes 👎 and I think most of the employees dress like clowns, they go too far
@@rogerr.8507 interesting take. I guess I never looked at it that way. I think it’s important to understand that ads and sponsored videos are ways to help bring income to the business. I know for me, it’s been great getting to know different brands that are out there instead of the big name ones. Also, I completely understand how change can be irritating to some viewers. As a creator, it’s tough trying to mix the old with the new and trying to see what works and how my viewers react. I think ultimately they stick to their core values (staying classic) while addressing/educate their audience. I value everyone’s opinions and appreciate your feedback! Love chatting with all of you!
GREAT question!! I’ll actually be doing a comparison video soon. I think they are very similar but also very different. Depends on how you like your shoes to fit.
1. A Career . Something you can hold on to for 20 years . Till you retire 2. A 401K / Stocks 3. A Home you can call your own. 4. Savings. 5. To be Debt Free. ( in time...) Those are MY 5 Things to work on FOR LIFE.
I wish I didn’t receive two pairs with issues with the left sneaker. One came heavily creased where the foot bends. Second once came with an unglued cup sole. Thursday told me both issues were merely cosmetic. Offered me $30 dollar credit and the second time offered me $10 credit. I was like na I just want a pair properly constructed. Returned both.
Great question! My next video will be on the company “Proper Cloth” and the video after that will be the comparison video 😊. Be sure to sub so you don’t miss it! Thank you for watching!
@@caihundrel thanks for sharing your opinion. Could you please share what you would like to pass down to your family when you’re gone? Curious to know what you think. Thanks for watching.
@@viniciusacmauroI see what you’re saying. Was the brown pair regular width? I’m wondering if they updated the last they use when you ordered your latest pair.
I ordered the Prince in 10.5 wide on Amazon. When it arrived. It wouldn’t fit. Every shoe I wear is 10.5 wide. But for some reason, these are made very small.
@@jodywiseley I feel a lot of shoe companies have going more narrow for some reason. Typically it’s just dress shoes, but it’s starting to become the norm. Which is unfortunate.
Did you only wear them to the mailbox? Cuz either these are really exceptional shoes, or you just didn't putting any work into them. No offense. But, for a white shoe to look that clean after a year, and the bottoms of the shoes to have zero wear on the treads is unbelievable. How often did you wear them? and what kind of activities did they undergo?
@@Me-ew8uh I did a couple times I’m sure. 👍🏼 In terms of quality, yes they are very good shoes. What I like most is that it isn’t the thinnest leather you’ll find on the market, which makes them pretty resilient. As an old sneaker head, I like to take care of all of my shoes. I usually clean them once a season to keep them nice. I’m assuming I’m not like most people by doing that. The rubber is very durable but I also didn’t play basketball in them. I wore them to casual events, dates, the office, etc. Again, I clean my shoes and I’m not super tough on them unless they are my workout shoes. Overall I think it’s safe to say that they are worth investing in. I’m also not getting paid to say any of this so there isn’t any biased opinions. 👍🏼 Thanks for watching and asking g great questions! -Lantz
i recently picked up a pair of these, in the coffee color. They do run a bit small, I ordered 12’s and returned for a pair of 12 1/2’s. They are super quick with the exchange process, after shipping back the first pair i had the new ones within a few days. Look and feel is very nice and feels very premium. Not quite as nice as a pair of Oliver Cabell’s I have, but very very close. And half the price. Incredible value. Will likely get another pair in white or blue.
Hey! No, I still use the original pair that came with them. That’s wild that yours are too short? I’ve never heard of that until now. Have you contacted customer service? They are usually really responsive and accommodating.
One guy met Egyptian firoun in his dream. Egyptian Firoun told him that he never thought there will be a bigger firoun than him. The Firoun also told him that this bigger firoun is recently emerged in Pakistan. The firoun in the Egypt has a strong desire that when Pakistani firoun will die, make a mummy of his dead body and transfer that mummy in the Cairo museum, so both can live together till the day of judgement.
I think Hespokestyle is also an awesome channel His style is classic, but definitely with a more modern twist. His later styles, 2022 onwards are more classic and effortlessly stylish. A great inspiration. Also, unlike other style channel, there is minimal to no sponsored ad. If there was, he would fully disclose it. Also, unlike some style channels, his speech is natural, he does not shout into the camera, creating a pleasant viewing experience. The only downside is, the price... Anyone below middle / upper middle class will not be able to afford the things he features, but as a style concept and lookbook inspiration, Brian Sacawa is awesome.
You are absolutely correct! I love what Brian does and admire how he’s built his business. You’re also correct in terms of budget. This is why I’m creating my own website and soon new channel called, “Men’s Style Society”. I want to bridge that gap 😊. Thanks for sharing!!
I clicked on your video hoping to find a new suggestion, and I did. I am subsribed to all the channels you mentioned, except to The Style Consultant. I'm about to start exploring his videos to see if I subscribe to his channel. A couple of channels that I really enjoy, that you didn't mention, are Mens Fashioner and Brock McGoff. Of course, there are others, but these two are "up there" for me. Keep up the good work.
You just gave me someone I haven’t discovered in Brock McGoff! Thanks for the suggestion! Yes, Men’s Fashioner aka Ashley, she does a great job and has been at it for a long time! I could’ve named 100 others but the ones I listed have been my favorites for a while. Thank you for watching and suggesting another for me! Have a great week! 🥃
they rub very narrow... also they squeak a lot when walking. i want to order a double e size to see if that can be a solution to the problems i have with the shoes
Great question! Just like any high-quality leather shoe, most of them will conform to your foot overtime. It’s usually the synthetic materials that will not. In my experience, the shoe does fit more comfortably, but they are a smidge too narrow for my foot.
Wow! This is a great and honest honest honest review. I’ve been considering these shoes for a while. After seeing this review I will definitely spend a little more towards another brand.
