"The Key To Twilight's Caelum Of Noctis Lies In A City Named A Shape Of Four Squares, Teleports A Fool." "Only Until It's Moon Becomes Whole Of Someone's Beloved In The Middle Of Chaos Can A Black Coat Person Truey Rule."
Mac Anu meaning "Son of a Goddess." Modeled after the city of Venice, Italy. No matter what version of .hack you play, read or watch, this is where the story begins. 🚣
The man with the shadow is on a journey in search of the Twilight Dragon and has yet to return Helba, Queen of Dark, raises an army Apeiron, King of Light, winks his eye The Cursed Wave must be fought together
What fun it would be if R:2 really existed and we could all fight in the Arena. The endless “Hangeki!” As both leaders try to counter everything going on in the field 🤣
.hack Sign, Liminality and the PS2 Series with all their soundtracks feels like a once in a lifetime project. It was so massive and beautiful, wish it got more recognition and appreciation. Maybe with the rising of AI people will revisit and realize how ahead it was of its time ~
We almost had a real protoype of The World on ps2 as an morpg and it was literally called .hack//fragment it's currently being localized and has an english translation if you want to risk pirating the iso I'm not held accountable for that decision to peek curiosity. It's really an abandoned game at this point but if it kept blooming we could of already be living in the dot hack Universe I wish CC2 didn't gave up on it eventually it would of had real working FMD like the anime.
Even though I don't clearly remember playing DotHack on its release or childhood. Everything about this series makes me feel nostalgic. Sometimes more intense. I pray to have this series back in a complete gameplay and graphics remake. I feel guilty for not getting the G.U. Last Recode on its release.
.hack// had one of the best soundtracks in Anime and gaming history hands down. Such a great series. I recommend it to everyone. Especially if you're a fan of Sword Art Online. Or even any other Isekai game based series.
I’ve just heard this song for the first time coming from a Cross Rengeki compilation video, which I’d come to in turn from the game’s gorgeous OP song. Thank you so much for this extended video, listening to great OSTs for as long as I can fills me with joy 💖
Thank you so much for posting these. I havent been able to find ost just pertaining to battle themes or the overworld normal themes. Id love to have all of these songs if theyre for download
The character battles in Xenosaga 2 were so damn cool... I don't know why they went backwards in 3. The boost system.. down and air combos and tag team attacks were so fuckin sick. One of my most favorite turned based battle systems in a jrpg for sure. Right up there with Mana Khemia.
The problem is that you're essentially forced to engage with every aspect of this needlessly complex battle system in order to do even remotely good damage in even the most basic of fights. Enemy HP pools are usually bloated and the fact that enemies can EASILY turn the tables on you if you're not careful means you can't really turn your brain off during them. This makes each fight tedious and slow to get through. It's a GREAT system for boss fights. But in random encounters, it's just ugh
@@tonberry2670 I think what you're describing made the battle system great for me, there's so many jrpgs where you really can just turn your brain off most of the time and battles are just busywork. I thought it was so cool to have one where you actually have to always be on your toes and thinking about the best way to get through battles. I've definitely played ones that take this too far and ask you to think about too many different variables, but I think XS2 struck a really good balance.
This track (and some other themes) comes from the “Perfect Collection” music album for IMOQ and is unfortunately never used in the actual game. Sorry for the confusion lol
