So you connected the 12v tan to the ground tan? dealing with this in a 2015 and found 3 cut tans somehow. I'll know what is what when I bust out the multimeter.
Yea, so the black tan was wired into the 12v system and the tan the black connected to went to complete the circuit for their sirens. But the original circuit was ground.
@@jakesmith8208 I appreciate the response. I found the 12 volt and the trigger but unfortunately it looks like they did a lot more cuts under the hood. This is gonna be a longer project than expected 🤣
Thank you so much I looked in the manual for this car and it pointed out that the wiring disconnect for the horn was in that rat's nest area but it also failed to mention what color the wires are so this video 100% reduced the time it would have taken me to figure that out
O gosh I am legally blind lol, now it does have that side trigger that I have to press to change to R,N,D. I can't change just by the brake. So that's why I was questioning if possible to take off because I wanted more customization.
If there was aftermarket support for that I6 it would be such a nice option. Engine control, EFI, turbo... 90's 300ci have an ok exhaust header and have EFI intakes to go on the same block. If I knew then what I know now... it would be a cheap way to have fun. The problem I had that was my only vehicle and by the time I could do something the body was gone. My I6 was over 200k miles and had no problems.
I have an F250 77 same color that I bought new in 77. Will be changing to 390fe soon and would like to change to manual trans from my c6. Hey you forgot to take the empty cans out of the bed for the video didn't you?
steve elliot the 390 is a monster, it's what's in her currently. and the cans are custom 😂 only issue I kept having was headers cooking the starts quickly. had to manufacture a heat shield for it
sorry this comment Is a little late.. but to undo the door panels there are clips all around the door panel as well as a screw in the center of the door pull handle. let me know if you have any questions
