Can the boot be replaced without taking out the piston? I can’t get the piston out, I have the boot around the piston sealed at the top but cannot get it to seal at the base back in the caliper
Hi there, its been a while since I done that task.i checked my vid and remember when the piston was out it was easier to get the bottom part of the boot in first, then use that red grease around the piston to ease the rest of the seal in. I must admit it was a bit tricky. Have you got a brake rewind kit to remove the piston?
Thanks for the video. I definitely would have given up without your help. Initially it looks impossible but with perseverance, bloody knuckles and washing up soap I got in and it works!! Thanks
Brilliant video. I have the later version of the heater control. I just replaced the hot/cold control arm yesterday. I sprayed some silicone lube on the diverter valve in the engine bay. It was quite stiff and probably contributed to the end of the control arm breaking.

Hi my pump was all working fine and still is,the problem was with the seal leaking which I resolved with plumber's mate sealant. The leaking issue has now gone and dishwasher is all working correct
Glad you got there. I just put it in socket like you , but with the black collar at the termination simply measure from wall to the black collar, then whatever that measurement is, is how much too long the flue is, so take that measurement and reduce the flue length by that figue.
This actually gave me the info I needed so thank you, but why on earth did you go through the other type of lock TWICE. Keep it short mate - only talk about things that are important to the task and speed the video up when you are doing things like screwing & unscrewing.
long as the discs are over min thickness (20mm) and not scored etc. no issue just doing the pads. When checking thickness, don't just caliper the 'gross thickness' - always check the inner and outer lips... the inner face often wears faster.
Hi mate, If its the keyhole surgery screw the one you can't see,you will need to try to clean the screw head out with a small screw driver and spray up with wd40. I used a screw driver type star piece (the green one in the vid). I don't think I could use the socket star piece as too tight. You may be able to wedge a normal flat screw driver into the screw head to remove.

If you had your softener for 13 years, it got slow because your resin beads got old. As they get old, they get mushy. And instead of little balls that allow water to pass through them, you get something that looks like a mud. Putting a caustic soda into your tank solved the problem, bacause you completely dissolved them and you got rid of resin through your drain. Now your tank inside is empty and your water is just as hard, as without water softener. This is an old video, but hey - please don't do that. There are ways to regen your water softener. You just destroyed it.
I'm thinking of changing the ignition coil on my 2006 Ka, just because I doubt it's ever been changed and there's a slight hesitation under load, it doesn't like being given full throttle when in a high gear at a low speed. Would you happen to have a part number handy for me? Appreciate the video!

Thanks mine didn't have a leaver to take the wheel off at the bottom, I had to pry it open with a butter knife and then hammer the pin back in afterwards.
I made my own ,as to purchase a fibreglass jelly mould was too expensive, to be honest I haven't finished the project yet. But I believe all you have to do is contact the dvla and inform them its a campervan not a commercial van and send them pictures to prove it
Great little video.. laughed when you knocked the camera over that’s me too! Not easy filming and ‘doing’ at the same time.. I’m investigating a serious fluid leak and removed my master cylinder esrlier today. Something is seriously amiss hoping that I can find out what’s happened.. ..
