Watch his life and loves on Netflix, wonderful series about him, though I still remember his name in my world history subject about Latin American countries, he’s one of my fave hero aside from Abraham Lincoln.
They say that Hulagu once dreamt of his god telling him not to attack arabs and after he woke up he said, "My god, I won't listen to you. You either shouldn't have created me, or the arabs."
2:05. The armed men outside Crimean referendum. Were they there in armored cars to protect the voters. The reputation of Ukraine for being extremely corrupt means that the 97% pro Russian vote was a logical outcome. Especially when the ballots are all caste in a see through box. Given that they are counted on the day and not stored anywhere 'safe over night' like in Western nations.
This kind of list makes no sense, there too many great mathematicians. For instance one can arguably consider that Evariste Galois has changed fundamentally the algebra, andwhat about Riemann, Cantor, Dirac, Von Neumann, Godel, Hilbert, Kolmogorov, etc. Even someone like Laurent Schwarz with his theory of distribution has changed how physicians use maths.
He didn't rename the city. It was still called Konstantinopolis or more like Konstantiniyye. Throughout the centuries it turned into Istanbul and it was officially changed to it first time in the early Turkish Republic.
@baptgiar1234 lose? It's funny we won soo much this was supposed to be short and simple but when you... Scatter them to the mountain caves and control their land, get the people we came for, and then leave that is losing? Did you forget we did not go there to conquer? Would you have preferred we take their land turned every city or village to rubble and built cites on the ashes with a American flag flying above? Did you forget our nation is built on freedom and conquering people is a direct contradiction to those ideals? Is that what you would call winning wholesale destruction of an entire people and their way of life? No, because then you would be calling us murderer and war criminal. You still do even though we left. 🤣 I can guarantee one thing after the thousands upon thousands of their people that have paid the price for 9/11, they will never attack us again. We lost fewer people in the entire war than they would lose in 1 day. When someone died, it was on the national news it was so uncommon. When they lost someone, they had to call him a martyr and move on most of the times not even being able to properly bury them because if they stood around too long, we would get them too. 🤣😂 meanwhile we would sing and dance on the roof tops and/or play games with the children. We were not the ones who lived in fear while we were there. We were the ones who owned the lands when we stood on them. It was only when we left by our own decision that they got it back. They DID NOT sally forth with some massive army called forth by an imam proclaiming a fatwa and driving us out. We chose when we left down to the exact minute of the exact day. When the order was given to the troops and their people liked us soo much more than our enemies they clung to our airplanes to continue living under OUR way of life. Frankly knowing what we know we should have annexed Afghanistan, they would have been better off, and certainly, many wanted us to stay.
@@baptgiar1234the US Army has never lost a war. The U.S government has lost before, but the US Army has not. And by your logic, why would the Romans be on here?
@@Connor-wv9pjThey are by far the strongest military to ever exist. It’s not even a competition. No country has been able to project its military abroad as easily as the United States.
The reason why they actually stopped in iraq was because the khan had a dream and Was told to stop killing the Muslims, for reasons only hulugu knows. 80 years later the Ill khanate and berke khan became muslims. Allahuakbar
