What about 'The Pearl Royale' by Colin Burn. It is said to be the most expensive at 4 million US I believe. If you do a google search on most expensive, this set comes up. I do not understand about the 'Jewel Royale' actually, has anyone ever seen a photo of the 'entire set' on a board!! I cannot find one amazingly. Maybe they haven't created the board yet, but one thing is for sure, searching about it brings up about 4 photo's of it and that is it.

I remember in the mid 70's. I read an article in the paper about a gold find in California. The man used a metal detector in an old abandoned mine. He had a reading on the wall. Dug away at it and found a gold vein. After he dug it out it, all of it.. lol He found around 300,000 dollars in gold. I remember reading it was about 2 inches into the wall, at around 10 or so feet from the opening. Meaning the original miners. Missed it when they sunk their shaft, by 2 inches. If they would have made their shaft a few inches wider, they would have found it.
The first one. He didn't didn't the mine. He found a dutch oven with gold in it. In a old house. He may have found the house, but never knew where the mine actually was.
My friend and I are working on a magnetic chess set made from Vibranium (purified, direct from Wakanda) and Svadilfarite (Asgardian gold). Unfortunately, after Surtur destroyed Asgard we've been having difficulty finding Svadilfarite due to all the price gouging. It also doesn't help that my friend got into some trouble and has now not only been banned from Wakanda but is being chased by Hunter War Dogs. It will probably take some time before we finish but we plan on taking it to the Collector for appraisal so we can get the best price. We are settling for no less than around 2 billion credits.
Those looks good for decorations, but I wouldn't play with those... feels uncomfortable to play with those boards and pieces lol. I have a glass chess set with still normal looking pieces and it's already uncomfortable to play... much for those
Amazing. A lot of people posting here think people actually buy these to play chess on. Also, the Jewel Royale chess set was never actually never made. Go ahead and actually try to find a picture of the whole set. You can't. Only one piece was made -- a king. It was offered by Boodles Jewelry. You can order one on commission. According to various sources, the price for the set would be around US$ 1,500,000, not 9.8 million.
I thought something was strange about this set. Google search always brings up Colin Burn's 'Pearl Royale' as the most expensive set, and as I said in my own post just before, I cannot find a single photo of the entire set on a board of the 'Jewel Royale'. There is like 4 photo's you can always find. It does appear though that a Queen has been made, and there is that photo, one shown in this video, of all the pieces shown. But yes, you cannot find a single photo of the 'Jewel Royale' all together on a board.
