I have argued line calls 3 times in 2 years. Usually people make bad calls and it’s an accident or POV. But some times you have to say… really? That ball hit the line…
Cool match. A shame big mouths wouldn't shut up. If the loud mouths aren't there to watch then they should take their annoying conversation to the parking lot.
@@ashleymichalski I don't get why people are so aggressive about calling out these ratings but I have to agree somewhat. This can't be better than 4.0 based on my experience. I guess that ratings are very inconsistent because I think of myself as a 3.25 and I am definitely this good or better. No disrespect, just an observation.
@@jondoh9025I referenced in a previous video ‘pickleball psa’ how open people are to commenting ratings when all they see is certain angles of a game. The camera slows the ball way down. I’ve been guilty of calling pros out saying “why couldn’t they get that ball?” When in reality the ball was going too fast for even a pro to handle, but I expect them to because on camera it looks like an easy grab. Watching these women in person is amazing and they are all high level players. Calling this 3.5 play is just being rude and naive about ratings in general. The resets alone make them high level players. The ability to set up points with their forehands, backhands, and dinks. The ability to place the ball with not only speed but with top and backspin. The amount of rallies before an error alone make these players high above a 3.5. Some of those things don’t show on camera and I get that. But they are high level players and dupr is free to check.
This is not only an incredible display of abhorrent line calling but an equally disgusting lack of sportsmanship. For B and A to overcome all of that and win the match is impressive. Outstanding, ladies!
This is actually at an Amish restaurant called Essenhaus 😂 in Middlebury, Indiana. A warehouse converted to 3 courts. We also have a new 7 indoor dedicated court facility in Mishawaka called H2 Warehouse!
Dupr, wpr, and pbr, and USA pickleball ratings would all disagree with you. I see: consistent forehand placement, improved backstrokes, dink consistency, third shot drops, and variety of volleying.
"Dink consistency?" Really???? This game was almost completely void of dinking. The missed serves and returns alone constitute sub-4.0 play where I am from.
I see multiple dink rallies. Pros miss serves as well, it happens to everyone. It’s easy to look from the outside and judge the play. The videos don’t do it justice sometimes, you can’t see how fast the ball is really going. Watching them in the moment I think it was solid 4.0 play.
