Brilliant!!! Please excuse my ignorance, but is the instrument a tamboura and is this instrument different than a traditional tamboura, because it sounds more like a baritone register and does the cloth wrapped around the gourd serve as a dampner or feedback suppresor? I really like the way he uses delay and is there any chance of getting a rig rundown on his pedalboard?
What a divine singing and all namams dipped in honey. Jayashree madam is very much blessed and endowed with bakthi to give awesome rendition which touched my heart and I got goose bumps.I pray to GOD to bless her with health to give more such divine songs which soothes the soul.
This might be a very very rare ragam. Because have not heard this ragam sung in many concerts. If anyone knows the aarohaNam and avarohaNam of this ragam please do post. Is this ragam by chance a janya of ragam natabhairavi?

Excellent rendition of this Sri Muthuswami Dheekshithar Krithi. it is not easy to render the krithis of Dheekshithar and Shyama Sasthrigal Sahithyam . One has to be in meditative mood to render these hymns . Voice so classic and divinefull. One small correction . The line " Samudayeh guruguhadayeh ... should be on a higher pitch....videography is so good .. is it in US ....?...would like to hear more such good renditions of our great Trinity which we can be proud of...Thanks and Regards
