Welcome to the chaos! We embrace it for what it is around here, so buckle up and enjoy the ride. I am a barn manager based in North Carolina, at our family farm. A brief introduction to the horses you'll see most often on my channel: Diesel: 2013 AQHA gelding, stands 18h of pure goofball, reg. name "Ironized" - my main dinosaur! Dunkin: 2021 AQHA gelding, reg. name "Iron Avenger" - the newest to the clan! Foxy: 2000 APHA gelding, 15.3 of sweetness, reg. name "Heza Foxy Heathen" - I've had him since 2013! Elliott: 2012-2022 AQHA gelding/angel. His medical issues taught me a lot, and he left this earth with endless heartache.
You'll see lots of other horses and dogs here and there, always feel free to reach out and ask me any questions. I will talk horses endlessly!
I tried those horse fly bags last year. I don't think I have ever been so happy with how a product works. I have cows as well, so we get massive amounts of thim aggressive horse flies. I saw a difference just days after putting them out last year. And now it's surprising if we see one.
My horse knows that if I smack her the horse fly won't come back... so she comes running to me and shows me where it is... Can look quite dangerous if the bug is on her bum😂
@@AndrewBonomini281 most stations it’s no charge. Filling swimming pools is usually “can you pay for the diesel we use?” Or a small donation. Volunteers have to stay non profit.
Most rural departments do it. I do volunteer and we do it a few times a year for however long when needed. Run it once a day. We pull from the river or the county hydrant.
@@DrewPWeenie1 it’s constantly stored in the tank at the station and lays stagnant. they don’t pull fresh water out of the system every time they fill the tank.
@@DrewPWeenie1 trust me i get it volly. that’s why I’m saying you may not want the water from that tank. but ya know it prob isn’t much worse than the water laying in a troth all day.
Love love your videos! I’m a younger gentleman looking to get into this exact lifestyle. Looks so amazing. Beautiful horses, and the way you talk about them is so endearing. It’s nice to have a small look at what it may be like for me - if I can find a place willing to train :)!
