Don't bother trying to buy Woodcraft stands for your motorcycle. They apparently can't make them anymore. They took my order and money in early March and kept stringing me along with changing delivery dates. I called them again yesterday and they basically said they don't even have a guess when they will be able to make them. So if you actually need stand(s), best to get them from someone else.
Bought a cheap one on Amazon first. Wheels bent under the weight of the bike the 2nd time I lifted my MT-07. Right into Garbage!! Spent the extra $125 on a Woodcraft and so glad I did. Solid construction and USA made. Avoid the Chinese knock offs. They look nice, but will NOT last. Woodcraft looks better than Pitbull too.
I have a 2006 gsxr 600 and the header flapper rusted shut breaking one servo wire that opens it or closes it. Any way i went to RU-vid and seen a guy cut a wire off the servo pig tail and it eliminated my FI light. But i still can get error codes so i guess i saved $49.99 lol
The best stand i have ever seen amaaaazing i am so happy with these stands i use the Pitbull stand too but this one is much much better nicer better price and perfect design great stand eveeeeer period
Totally agree. I have a PitBull rear stand with front facing handle. It’s a design that allows me to stand next to bike and feel a little more stable than rear stand rear facing handle. But that is my issue not a fault with WC design. Also the support with PB stand runs under tire. A bit stronger at the expense of a much higher overall minimum lift height (3-4”). Also setting it correctly is tricky. Ever have middle support hit tire while lifting bike? Yikes! Not with WC stand!
get a brake light and run wires to brake light simple! if you want front brakes to work with the light get a lever that has a sensor and run the wires to the brake light
Hi Andy, The servo valve on your 1098 is spring loaded to stay open unless otherwise influenced by the bike's servo motor. If you have any further questions feel free to email us at info@woodcraft-cfm.com and we'll be happy to help you out!
I see the torque spec in the instructions for my 2022 BMW S1000RR (with anti seize 31ft.lbs dry 44ft.lbs). Would it be correct those are the two recommended options only? As in you wouldn’t recommend any lock tight? Appreciate your input! Also I noted to NOT remove both forward engine mounts at same time for obvious reasons (engine shift). Done one at a time - there isn’t any danger of any movement without supporting in any way?
@@woodcrafttechnologies8836 Thank You Kindly for your quick reply! Removing sheared off mount bolts that have been incorrectly cursed by red lock tight is NO BUENO! 🙏🤣🤡
What happens if I turn on my bike and rode it for 2 miles? My engine light came on. What do I do after I install my servo to eliminate the engine light off.
If you dont have a servo buddy me and my boy just put the motor back till the servo buddy came remove the wires of course that lead to that flip to the exhaust and the honda still thought it was fine no check engine light nothing now i only did this till i got my servo buddy. This is on my 2021 cbr1000r.
Rear stands won't at all on the 1250, They have single sided swing arm and shaft drive. The 850 could probably use a pad stand. It really depends on the model
We don't currently have that one in for Euro bikes, We can possibly make one, but we'll need the following photos. 1 -- Ignition switch connector into OEM Harness, front and back of connector 2 -- RHS control switch switch connector into OEM Harness, front and back of connector 3 -- distance between the connection of the ignition switch and RHS switch into the OEM harness. Please feel free to reach out to info@woodcraft-cfm.com with any further questions. Thanks
I have a 2016 zx10r that the metal on the cover completely surrounds the sensor preventing it from being poped out. Any suggestions on how to remove it? My only idea is to dremal it out.
I just bought a grom and it has a hindle exhaust. My ears are still ringing after the ride today (and i was wearing earplugs!) so i ordered this baffle but was confused how it stays in the exhaust. now i understand. Can't wait for mine to arrive!! Lol
I installed my exhaust without installing my servo buddy and I haven’t had any issues or lights pop up? 2k miles later stilll fine? 2020 r1. Did I just get lucky somehow?
Do I need two of these, one for the back brake and one for the front brakes in order for brake light to work with either brakes? Thanks for video, any feedback appreciated.
