Vance Alexander Appreciated man. Wish I could have editited it better, much less captured it with my better quad (FPV cam failed and crashed it an hour before the event when I was doing a test run of how I would capture this). But that's how the hobby goes.
how are you liking this frame? I'm going to be building one with similar specs shortly, but there hasn't been many reviews one this besides what Uavfutures did.
I'll sum it up as best I can. 1) I ordered 2 of the frame kit. The first from eBay somewhere in China. The second from GearBest. It took a week for GearBest with expedited shipping after I waited over a month for the eBay one and got impatient lol. 2) The supplied PDB in the kit may not be worth the effort...highly suggest a higher brand or in my case an all in one FC. 3) If you like challenges, tight spaces, and awkward design to build on...lol it will provide that. 4) I cannot comment on durability, cause I've not crashed it super hard yet lol. 5) I wouldn't trade it for the world man. It performs just like Stew said. 6) There isn't a lot of video out there of it, I will be making more with it. But on that note....it doesn't naturally support the gopro session. I had to use a Session mount (Just the plastic cage) through a knurled horizontal bar at top and a Velcro strap to be able to record at all. Hope this helps out.
Trey Cummings exactly the info I wanted lol. This will be my 6th multirotor build. I ordered mine from gearbest also. I'll be running a DYS F4 AIO, T1 tornadoes 2300kv, 30A dshot 600 escs, TBS Unify race, and hopefully a runcam split if I made the preorder in time lol. thanks for the info bud
CHRIS G No problemo. The split looks cool....may actually be better concept for this (it wasn't out at the time I built my Hawk) I use the Rotor Riot Edition Runcam Swift on this one. If you haven't looked at my other vids on my little channel, watch the most recent one I put up. I fly waaay more aggressive with the HAwk lol.
I current run a SpaceOne formula 220x with the exact same setup. How are you liking your DYS F4 AIO? I hardly had to do any PID tuning. I have minimal propwash on the spaceone, I'm hoping with this frame it will be down to almost nothing
