This is great for people who have good vision, but for people like me who can’t see well without glasses, i’d rather just ride AquaDuck on Disney Fantasy and Disney Dream.
The tipping culture in America is mindboggling. Coming from Europe where tips aren’t the norm, it seems unfathomable that the employer doesn’t pay their staff a sufficient salary and the onus is on the customer. I’ve worked in plenty of customer service jobs and it was my job to provide excellent customer service, I didn’t expect extra from the customer for just doing my job.😂 Tipping in America is an anxiety inducing mind field!
Hilton recommends tipping $1-$5 per night for maid service in their hotels. Staterooms are much smaller but Disney automatically charges $18/night for a family of 4 for cleaning your room?!
I think everyone’s judging the price and missing the fact that it also includes the ability to go to Skywalker Ranch which isn’t open to the public. That’s worth it to me and I have no money. 😂
My wife and I are going on a Disney cruise this July. It will be our 3rd time and we love Alaska. We have thought about taking a cruise with a different company. Thank you for your opinion that DCL is the best option. The Jewel Garden was a memorable time for our family as well. We were fortunate to get a session with the owner. The keepsake ornament is a treasure that will last a lifetime. Enjoyed your show, but wish I had found it earlier.
Jackie is not crazy, I took a Disney cruise in 1990, it was my first cruise ever. Back then it wasn’t called DCL, I believe it was the Oceanic or something but it was Disney, Mickey and characters were on the boat just like they are now.
I'd like to see the backpack, water bottle, other gifts and escort off the ship if you have that footage. And if you went to Skywalker Ranch. Just a quick follow-up video. Just curious, living vicariously. I can't be spending that kind of money on a drink, lol.
I hated Disney Fantasy, everything food wise was all congested in one area. Ppl will just plop their butt all day in the area and reserve seats. All 7 days only food I ate was what I bought and the rotational dining. Ppl eat like pigs. The selfishness of Disney had me depressed. Do people need to eat 24/7? I was stressed so bad over ppl in rudeness, I never seen such horrible rotten miserable ppl who intentionally will slam you, yell at you for no reason. It seemed bc I had no kids and my adult son who does animation just wanted Disney for the art and detail. But we experienced discrimination bc we had no child with us. It seemed parents attacked us bc we didn’t. You don’t have to bring your unruly children. I felt like do we need to rent a kid to belong. I hated how mean ppl were. The staff was amazing. I can’t believe how many ppl took off the paid gratuity bc they were so cheap.
I could care a less about five cafe, it was also taken over bc it was right in that area and bc of more free shit ppl just seemed to want to have access to free shit. Maybe it’s good to do away with some things bc ppl abuse it. Not everyone can cruise 80 x a yr and many ppl save to go on a cruise and to have greedy ppl do the sane thing over and over is prob’ why Disney separated venues to allow ppl to not congested one area. I think that’s a good thing. I just feel ppl are truly selfish on Disney and will be rude to get someone upset to stay away or hurt them for their own gain. But if wish is more separated, I’m all for it. If ppl can’t spend some money 💰 they shouldn’t sail on a cruise 🚢 Disney does give plenty of food for free and I myself can’t eat like a pig from a slop. I hope the next ship Adventureland they make it harder. Everyone should have a enjoyable cruise and not ppl who cruise 80x a yr feel entitled. I hope they make it where you need to walk and move around. It’s good exercise as well.
Thank you! Going on my first cruise and we booked DCL conceirge for my son's 5th birthday. I feel so overwhelmed because I have never done this. You have put me at ease.
Pretty gross watching this in retrospect knowing how much money Pete stole and his deplorable behavior with staff and others. I suppose it’s easy to afford Concierge when you’re using someone else’s money.
Do you remember if it is possible to get past the murphy bed while down to go onto the verandah? I totally get it would be more difficult but as long if it doesn't interfere with the opening of the door and there is a few inches of room to shimmy my legs through I am thinking it is at least possible? I just want to sip my morning coffee out there prior to the room attendant coming later to fold it all back up.
I love this slide! I went on it last year and was a little skeptical to try it at first, but it is really fun. However, the images do squirt water at you which is not clear in this video.
What excites me is that this is more of a boy-themed cruise; as opposed to the others which were very princess-y. We are a family with 3 boys, and they are just coming of the age to take on a cruise. The fact that this seems more boy oriented excites me so much!!
You can bring a curling iron and hair dryer which cause fires but cannot bring a non surge protector multi strip unlike every other cruise line and cannot bring an extension cord for a CPAP machine, they force you to rest one for $50. Total and utter crap!!! Get better Disney. As for now I am heading to Royal...
