I am a keen observer with a camera in my hand, wandering through Czech nature and filming wild animals. Mostly I just follow my nose and film what I come across. More than making long documentaries, I enjoy bringing people short experiences of the wilderness we all have in our backyards. The mysterious creatures of the forests, meadows and hillsides are not unreachable mirages, they are our friendly neighbours. And I want to show them all to you, so that you love them as much as I do.
Beautiful Images, Lukáš! I have the GH5 and GH6, but having excellent autofocus might be enough for me, a manual focus guy for almost 40 years, to consider. God Bless!

I certainly think manual focusing is still important, there are many situations where you just can’t rely on AF 😉 But using AF for easy scenes is just a bit more enjoyable…
Lukas you have new subscriber,me! Seriously speaking, I have purchase GH seven and I am new in this camera but anyway, I wonder what quality and frame rate you are using for your videos because Lumix has such a lot of options inside that I’m lost Thank you for respond

Hello Andrzej, I don’t own the GH7 yet, I am planning to purchase it during winter for my upcoming spring shootings. With the GH6 I mostly use the 5.7K 50p mode (H265 10bit) or the 4K 100p mode.
A beautiful video. The range of very similar Xylocopa violacea extends from Europe to central China. They hibernate in dead wood over winter and emerge in the spring, around April or May and mates in the late spring or early summer; then, fertilised females bore tunnels in dead wood to make nests, or use the old nest tunnels, having thus relatively short time frame to raise offspring. Because of that, this species prefers warm temperate climate and earlier inhabited southern Europe. I don't know about the Czechia, but in Central Europe, for example, in Germany, it was quite rarely encountered: from 1850 to 2004 only seventy-five reports have been documented in Bavaria and snce, due to the global warming, the species has been observed there in natural areas where it has never been seen before. One more species, very similar to Xylocopa violacea, blue a.k.a. large carpenter bee, Xylocopa valga, the largest European bee, lives in Europe. It's range is from Europe, except for far northern latitudes, now extinct in Latvia and Lithuania, to temperate Asia from, i.e. from Middle East to Mongolia. As for the blister beetles, Meloe violaceus, a large number of members of the family Meloidae secrete hemolymph that contains poisonous cantharidin, which was historically used as an aphrodisiac, and is currently used in treating molluscum contagiosum (water warts) and warts. Simply, don't touch them.
Hello Lukas, metabones updated a lot of their adapters to work with PDAF cameras. Please try to update the adapter and check if focussing has improved.
