Ricky is so underrated 😢😢 I hope he has more opportunities to show his vocals. He’s really have potential and I believe he can improve his technique / skills more if the company give him lessons / chances appropriately.
And what’s funny is Mariah, isn’t even trying. It’s just what she hears and what she can do because god gave her the gift of musicality. There’s an orchestra in her brain.
VOCALBASEONE 🔥 One thing I love about them is that they were created thru a survival show. It's impressive how people were able to put individually impressive singers altogether. Also, re: Hao's lower register, the comment "sounds easy and comfortable with a solid, slightly classical placement to it," reminds me of that tweet saying that he gives off the energy of a musical theater kid who happened to dream of becoming an idol
My favorite episode is the one with Zhang Hao of Zerobaseone. I don't know what it is about him and his voice that's so captivating... I keep going back for more

Whitney was blessed and then some. But her choices let to it's destruction by 2002. Celine took care of her voice, so she immediately gets more respect from people. Just can't look past Whitney abusing that God given Stradivarius of a voice. Celine has the biggest Discography, the longest career, dual language careers, the most extensive touring history... and two back to back 30 million selling albums. You can't just look at Whitney's voice, it's a combination of things...her voice was gone by the 2000's, and there is no excuse for that. Mariah lip syncs and dubs so much...that as a live performer...she is like watching a street magician... Its all fake. Mariah also moved away from belting after TEOM album. And her voice is a shadow of its former self. She just cant sing her songs anymore. Celine wins...did you watch the paris Olympics?

Tori is the best here. Her riffs and runs are clear and the most fluid one. She is 99% accurate on live performance and her musicality is great (she never sing the same.) Mariah has best musicality, but her accuracy is nowhere near Tori or Beyonce in live performance. She is often sliding or miss notes in some cases. (Even in her prime era. U can literally find some performance where she missed or it doesn't clear enough) Beyonce has the clearest and the fastest riffs and runs but she lacks musicality compared to the other two.
I loved Jiwoo's " Dash I wanna daash, I wanna... DASH!" it has so much control and attitude. She really has the rapper voice and feel while also being such an excellent vocalist. I want some more Jiwoo raps cause I just know she has that potential.
Imho jiwoong is more suitable to sing in a slow song with a lower register than sing in an upbeat song with many higher register. You can actually listen to his oost, or zerobaseone slow song where he doesn't force his voice to hit high note. 😊🖤🩷

Technique wise Whitney wins Artisty wise Maria wins Celine is like in the middle (not as technical as whitney or creative as Mariah) So we can safely say that all of them are equally great.
since you only found out about triples you should definitely check out the other members like jiwoo, shion and mayu for Shion you can check out the song just do it from -tripleS NXT Jiwoo is in the tripleS Aria sub unit which is a vocal focused unit that consists of members -S3 Jiwoo -S4 Chaeyeon -S9 Kaede -S10 Dahyun -S13 Nien And for mayu you can chek out the girls never die performance from B Team i believe (when they got separated into A and B 12 members each)
I agree pretty much with everything except Jiwoong’s placement. He has more range than being shown..its kinda crappy that he is one of the members that consistently gets the less lines in their songs. Ill put him in atleast at the same level of Ricky. Jiwoong can also belt but i think he shines more with using his lower register when singing
