I own the G2 and a green label G1 and love them both. Those ultramax photos did look great. Glad how much you enjoyed this back then. How is this holding up for you after 2 years?
Does anyone here have jackhammer esophagus? I have stage 3 and on like 5-6 meds… I vomit almost every day… unable to work since I can hardly eat 600 calories a day… Botox injections helped for only 3 weeks… next step is POEM and headed to Miami to see a new more specialized Dr on Monday. I am down 30 pounds and lost a ton of hair… the biopsy was + for alopecia. Anyone else losing their hair? I read one case study where a lady had advanced jackhammer and also + for alopecia. My primary dr thinks it’s autoimmune too. Ahh this is stressful and nobody to really turn to since it’s so rare. 😢
I underwent POEM Procedure today on 26th August 2024. Was suffering from Achalasia from a couple of years. Thank you for posting this, I'll try to follow as well. Juices, milkshake for 1 week, then soft rice stuff. Wish me luck 🤞🏻
Hey! Random but I'm curious how you are doing three years post POEM? I am 3 weeks post op myself and feeling better but would love to bounce experiences off of you. Maybe this is too much and weird but if you feel open to it I could give you my email or phone number? Hope you're doing well!
hi yes of course! 3 years post poem- definitely better than where i started, still have some not-amazing days (more recently) where its more difficult/slow to swallow but also countless days where i forget this is ever something i went through! the recovery period was the worst for me with the worst acid reflux of my life but since then ive been so much better!! also im super mindful of what i eat, making sure my meals are super balanced and when i feel ill i stay away from tougher foods such as meat but overall good experience😌
Thanks for sharing your recovery. I'm having the same operation soon. Please continue your updates they are very helpful. God bless you for helping so many people with this disease...
So glad I found this. I’m 61 and started having swallowing issues in my 20’s. Over the years I’ve had the esophagus dilation performed about 5 times but last year was told that was no longer an option for me and they finally diagnosed me as having Achalasia. They recommended the Heller as my next option but even the surgeon said that there was no urgency, thankfully. Unfortunately, I am now starting to aspirate at night so I’m considering getting either the HM or POEM scheduled soon. I live in Tennessee and the closest options, in order of proximity, are Vanderbilt in Nashville, Washington University in St.Louis, MO, or Tulane in New Orleans….anyone have any feedback on these three. Thank you in advance.
I got mine done today, I am so petrified of needles, I’ve only done gun piercings before. I also have a low pain tolerance. My first one (the top one) hurt more surprisingly. It definitely stings a bit more than a piercing gun, but it doesn’t hurt too bad. My bottom one did bleed a bit, but it doesn’t hurt. Anyone who wants it and can get it, should get it!
My achalasia symptoms got diagnosed in July 2023 but the symptoms started in February 2023. It’s insane how fast it progressed. I’ve had a botox injection in February 2024 and early April 2024. Both did not work. Yesterday (April 25) they finally scheduled me for POEM surgery. I was vomiting a lot when they brought me back to my room but that stopped after. Today (April 26) I will finally get to eat something soft (soft diet for 2 weeks) and after, FINALLY start introducing the normal food!!! I am very excited for the two weeks to be over and feel like a normal person again 🥹 I mean, achalasia is forever but I hope this surgery finally allows me to eat better (the past days I have just been eating white chocolate bars lol at least 2-3 because nothing will go down). I probably tried already ALL the existing white chocolate bars in the supermarkets here in Germany 😆
avoid talking to random strangers, especially men, everywhere in the world! There are a lot of creeps out there and many are constantly doing this, trying to pick up girls who are just passing through, so they target tourists. Was the Joe & the Juice in London? They are quite expensive.
I think I have achalasia too (I am going to try to get it diagnosed soon) and I’m so interested in hearing you talk about it because I’ve never heard of someone who can relate! I would love to hear more about your journey and any advice you might have
I grew up shooting with film. After 20yrs of using digital after, I wanted to slim down the gear and go back to my roots, but not film. I wanted to simplify again. Bought s FUJIFILM XS-20 from Kenmore Camera (Love Glazers too) and starting shooting with it. Jpegs coming out of this little powerhouse are great to see. The flippy screen means no more phones for selfies. Xt5 is next on my list for landscape.
Thank you for your wonderful videos ❤ dont eat so fast, do swallow exercise to strenghthen the muscles of your throat ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-H4S1Afq4fps.html
How are you doing nowadays ? Maybe an update in how you are doing? Dont forget to always chew your food very well. We with the achalasia disease must always chew the food very well .. Take care of yourself and all the best ❤
I'm having the HM tomorrow. I've been battling achalasia since September 2021 but the last 3 months have been the worst. So I'm excited for tomorrow. I miss drinking water.
@@Bad_BowHunter I completely understand you. After two months of recovery, the heartburn is going away. While surgeon was performing my surgery, Dr. Carvajal found 2 holes in my esophagus. I will pray for you. Get all of your medications after discharge from hospital. Dexilant 60mg, Reglan 10mg, Zofran 4mg, Gas X, Omeprazole 40mg, Pepcid 20mg and Sulcrafate Oral Suspension.
Hello there !!!! Thanks for the video !!! I carry a Fuji X100T with me at all times !!! Love that little camera, like you say, its colors, the buttons, the flash !!! its output is always just perfect (day or night) beautiful perfect fill flash at all times !!! I am not a pro, photography is a hobby to me, but I love it. also carry a Nikon DSLR with me in case I need to shoot action. How is the Fuji XT5 compared to a Nikon DSLR (Nikon D7500 for example) I mean, speedwise ??? thanks again !!!
Okay then, next stop --> Seattle, need to consider going to Seattle then, after PR from Canada haha Thank you for making the video, to show us how (not-so) realistic week looks like in the city! Quite a lot of insights can be gathered from the video! Keep up the good work! Love from Vancouver 🍁🇨🇦
Thr xt-5 is a great size camera, but for extreme cold weather shooting just wish it has battery pack…..so sticking with xt-3 and xh-2. Hopefully they will bring that feature back in Xt-6.
OMG you are breathtaking!!! I'm going to subscribe just because you are so beautiful!! 😂 I am currently trying to decide between Canon and Fujifilm right now. Thanks for the video! What are your thoughts on ASP-C vs Full Frame?
I wanted to say hi because I'm a vlogger in Seattle too :) I usually go to the Ballard Market but I'll have to check the Fremont Market out now. "I have like two bouquets of dried flowers but you never have too many" -- so relatable, haha!
