Please do NOT put this on your hair or scalp as some people want to try it on their hair. You cant buy in my country as some countries have banned gentian violet for potential toxicity, and even possible cancer risks. In the United States it is banned for certain uses, i in other places like Australia and Canada, its use is banned completely .Health Canada has completed a safety review of human health products and veterinary drugs containing gentian violet and has found that exposure to these products may increase the risk of cancer. Given the seriousness of this risk, Health Canada is advising Canadians to stop using all human and veterinary drug products containing gentian violet. After completing two safety assessments, the Department concluded that, as with other known cancer causing substances, there is no safe level of exposure, and therefore any exposure to these drug products is a potential cause for concern. The manufacturer has stopped marketing the product in Canada and its product licence has been cancelled. I am not being mean I am just letting you guys know.
No I wouldn't recommend that, I don't know what the outcome will be? I would chat to a hairdresser. If you use it too much it can dry your hair out. Maybe a drop in your conditioner rather than dye
No need to rinse :) just make sure you don't add too much to the water and don't do it too often as it will dry your hair out. You must follow using a nourishing hair mask

Please can you write down the name of that product, because I've looked everywhere at dischem but I can't find it...i don't know maybe I looked in the wrong section, but it's definitely not in the hair section. I'm in the process of going blonde at home, but damn it's a struggle to get hold of toner in south Africa and purple shampoo doesn't really do much...
Hmm. That's strange, it's normal gentian violet. You know where they sell Epsom salts and all the essential oils etc, that's where the gentian violet is. Ask one of the assistants to point it out. Any pharmacy will have it

@@christystrever6152 you could do that but then your hair will go a bit purple if you don't mind that. I use the Gentian violet to make my hair purple (mixed with conditioner)
I'm so sure you have milk powder, worst case scenario grab 1 gallon of milk and pour it into half a tub, see if that works. Otherwise coffee creamer Powder?

Thanks for your comment! its fine to use the gentian maybe once a month or less just because it starts to dry your hair out. Gloves may make it harder to take the cap off the gentian but it'll also be messy, either way its messy. My advice is to wrap it in tissue or toilet paper around the nozzle so it gets absorbed. If you get it on your hands it lasts about 2 days. :)
Hmmm that's interesting, I'm sure it's a better medium to work with but its definitely not cheaper in South Africa, I buy one bag of powder, only need 1 cup for a bath so it lasts much longer. But thank you for your comment, I'll have a look next time I'm at the shops to compare prices :)
Bought a few Freddy jeans and legging in size S size fit perfect but they didn’t enhance my butt, instead they make them look flat especially from behind . These girls who looks great in it do actually have nice big bums so it’s not because of Freddy ,I’m so disappointed.
I do hear what you saying, however I dont have a bum...it doesn't really make it bigger but more shaped. I feel more confident in them than my other jeans
