God I miss this place. I grew up with this place back in the 70's & 80's. SOOOOO good. Those calzones... The Best in the World. When ever in North Jersey we ALWAYS stop & eat. Still just the same. Just the same and just as awesome.
Thanks for the recipe. I've been watching many videos for how to make harissa, so may I ask why you use dried peppers, instead of fresh? I've seen when people use fresh peppers, they roast them first, or char grill, then remove the skins, and pulp up the flesh in a blender. Just interested to know what method works best 😊
First thing , you dnt soke them in water for 45 minutes, you just need to hydrate them , second no need for cumin , you needed salt and more garlic , the ratio is 70 /30 , also you dnt get rid of all of the seeds because they make the flavor strong among the garlic and spices, good try thou
