Unfortunately (like with so many tutorials) Your interface does not look the same as mine in Klaviyo. Meaning, already in the start I can't follow this video. This is something all tutorial creators should REALLY think about. IF the software you want to explain change their interface and structure within the program, YOU need to keep up with these changes and make a new tutorial based on the latest update. Yes, it's hard work, yes the companies changes a lot. I didn't say it was easy:) What I am saying is, that this actions would make you unbeatable as a RU-vidr, build trust, grow your audience muuuch faster. Why? Because every time someone looks at it, it will help them....and that's what you are selling, help.

Is it better to create separate holiday segments "Valentines Holiday" and "Thanksgiving Holiday" or merge them all into 1 Holiday shopper segment?

It really depends on your brand, I like to have a holiday shopper segment based on the most popupular sale period for each brand. E.g. for a Florals brand, it's usually Valentine's Day. For apparel, it's usually Black Friday

sometimes add to cart matrix do not trigger because of 3rd party app like "Up cart". How can I fix such problem ? Hope you would answer?

Do I have to go to each customer profile to add their first purchase date or does this automatically know from how we set the flow up?

For future profiles it will do it automatically, for previous customers you'll have to do this manually. You should be able to do it by importing a CSV File with the customer profile data however this can be time consuming

Yes as long as you're using the correct list, Newsletter list is the one you should use for new Klaviyo accounts

Yes absolutely, you can do both. Social media icons work great in the footer, and adding a small section with customer reviews also perform well.

Hi there, I want to create an actual CART abandonment flow (adding to cart being the main trigger), but all the videos and tutorials I keep finding are for abandoned CHECKOUTS. I started using the flow that Klaviyo has for abandoned carts (main trigger = adding to cart) and it only shows the product image and title, but not the price, quantity, etc. Also, when clicking on the product it takes you to the product page, not the actual cart page with all the items... do you know if there is a way to: 1. Show the price and quantity of the products left in the cart 2. Direct customers to their cart and not to the product page? It would be very helpful! I'm going crazy trying to find tutorials about actual abandoned carts and not abandoned checkouts

I will be creating a video on the Abandoned Checkout soon to help explain this further, but for now here's what to do: For price: {{ event.Price|default:'' }} - this should work For quantity: You'll have to check what event is getting fired from your store For redirecting them to cart: add a button with a link to cart: storename.com/cart

It's best practice to start off with 3 abandoned cart emails. Once these have been running for around 1 month, you can review the analytics to see if people are still opening and clicking. If these metrics are still great, you can then add a 4th email and wait another month to collect data and make a decision if you are able to add more. Hope this helps!
