It's not a sport - it's just a buisnes . They bought a players , they bought a fans ( 2000 euro per head) , they bought a coach and of course referees. Shame for handball ...
I suggest ALL national handball federations to leave IHF and to create a brand new organization based on fair and honest principles. If some country is rich in resources, like oil, it doesn't give it a right to buy a title by any means. This rule usually applies to local soccer or basketball clubs but not to a NATIONAL championship. And to add some more facts: I am a Serb and some people are angry at Serbian refs in semi final game. Ok, they are rightfully disappointed with their terrible calls as much as I am. Do you know why IHF officials picked them? It is just because Serbia didn't qualify for World Championship. My country hoped to get a wild card, based on its obvious qualities, but it was given to a total underdog - Saudi Arabia, another rich Arabic nation! Enough is enough, IHF is a piece of crap.
All our effort was damaged by Serbian referees and Qatar officials. I am interested how much money they gave Serbian duo? We played untill the end and our efforts was destroyed. Qatar - liar

What the fuck is Qatar? A few years ago they didn't know what handball is then decide to become world champions, just for fun, just because they are rich in oil and just because nobody wants to stop it. See you in 2022, WC in soccer, Qatar will be the host. Will it be about the same?

Greetings from Macedonia, like a neutral fan i want to say that with this actions from qatar by forsing something with money is very very..and again VERY wrong and disrespect not only for the handball but for the SPORT!! It is like F1 now...it doesent matter who is driving but what he drives - if you r smart youll know what i mean.... BIG SHAME!
I'm from Poland and I know we didn't play as good as we can, we made stupid mistakes and of course Qatar played very good (especially goalkeeper) but work which did a referee was so unfair. We couldn't play, cause every touch of opponents it was 2 minutes punishment for us. The situations with Bielecki and behavior of referees was tragic. Ok, Qatar (players from all over the world :P) won and all the best in final for them, but without referees and MONEY they're nothing. Sport loses the most important values-this is sad but true.
is it hard to play against bribed REFEREES, fans and team bought only for WC isn't it? in my opinion it's a huge shame for IHF and i hope that for further events they will reconsider for whom to admit organization of the tournament.
Poland played in defense very gentle, to avoid 2 minutes penalties. Strong defence is the polish strategy, without it cannot win. You are blind ignorant. And I put money for Qatar, because I knew that we cannot win...
ArnethCuvenn People always forget to take things like this into account in any sport, when the referee is out to get you, suddenly you start playing very gently to avoid screwing up any chance you had because the ref will penalize you for any little thing, it fucks with the player's mentality.
This nonsense unless you are! It is interesting that in the last championship Qatar could not even get out of the group and now somehow become the best and in them are championship. And it's interesting that Qatar beat the Germans! It is these stupid judges helped them! I hate to just such a scam!
Also, as Serbian I am ashamed of referees from our country. Poland should be in final and Qatar should be disqualified. Playing with national team full of foreigners with referee protection is disgrace for sport.
