Strangest looking mice I have ever seen, their back legs are too long and obviously meant for jumping as opposed to running, I think these are in fact Kangaroo rats/mice, look at the extraordinary length of their tails, far longer than a mouse tail. Kangaroo Rats are desert rodents that have a metabolism that needs very little water, even their snouts are designed to recover moisture from their breath. They even pee infrequently, and its super concentrated, again to reduce moisture loss, compared to a normal mouse which pees everywhere it goes so other mice can follow them. Kangaroo Rat/mouse also have cheek pouches like hamsters so they can eat their fill and then load their pouches to take food home for the kids. They also don't carry any diseases that humans can catch, and being desert dwellers they are no threat to farm crops. In fact they are little cuties compared to our normal rodents❤❤
