Cannot wait to fish with you guys again Scott - and that drift boat looks sick (as my sons would say) - NRS, only the best - and you guys might be onto something with those rod holders…❤️
cant tell you how many times I've hooked myself with this method. gave me some serious anxiety watching. i found that using the stream itself to take my fly and line down about the length of the rod then flick it forward while lifting works better. just don't let the mainline touch or the drag becomes too much, and you might scare the fish. but for the first cast i might use the bow and arrow. ONCE.
Thank you. I'm not really sure about the figure 8 thing, but I'm sure that I will be able to understand, once the ice gets out of our rivers, and I can go fishing again. I appreciate your advice.
Thanks for sharing! The first time I tried this cast I grabbed the beed of the fly and launched it into my finger 😂 new subscriber by the way. You've got some cool vids on here!
Beautifully shot and edited video - love how you took the time to set up for the different camera angles to keep it interesting. Keep the videos coming
Great fun watching this as I fly fish for snapper in Auckland in the harbour estuary. Noticed you got the fish strikes on the pause on some of your retrieves which is same over here. The stationary fly is the biggest temptation not the actual stripping action. Hope to see more of your bream fishing. Subscribed. You can see some snapper on my channel.
That’s a good video, I like that you go through the rig and the flys. Can I ask what size and brand of hook you use for your MBS’s. Thanks for sharing.
So refreshing to see a sub 30 minute video that doesn't go on and on and on with same ol', same ol' footage that has been done to absolute death. Yours has a simple story line, a simple sound track, no droning narrative and action from whoa to go! Congratulations on a great little vid.
