I own some property right beside Tansky. but I have no experience offroading like this. Amazing video. looks fun. maybe too intense for me. Maybe I'll rent a side by side and take the Mrs exploing.
Thats the kind of riding I love to do. The South Island def has some epic trails. I’m up island and we have some zones like down there but they are pretty small in comparison.
Any Grizz that make it to the island are shot, almost immediately. And even Black bears are not that commonly ran into in the bush. But Cougars... yeah those ninja's are everywhere. I've hiked the island from pillar to post for 25 years and barely ever see bears. No worries there ;)
He likes it , it was a bit to tall for him so he got the lowering link think he was happy with the results the no e start is a bit of a pain but I think he likes the bike otherwise
I’m just starting to look for another bike and would like to ride on some technical stuff like this. The 300xc w seems to be the perfect bike for these types of trails. Have you ever done these trails on a 4 stroke? Tough to decide between the 300 and a 350
Buy the 300! And never look back personally I think it’s heaps better for technical riding 4 strokes run hot and boil over easier plus there’s just no comparison to the lug and power of a two stroke!
How many hours do you have on your bike? I just bought a 2023 300 xc-w and worried as I have seen a couple with exploded pistons and rods at like 60 hours
