They need more trees & plants outside. The area is all cemented causing too much heat from the sun. They did a remarkable job of restoring this place to its grandeur, indeed its very nice.

Kung sino mang sikat na architect ang nag design ng extension bldg mg Manils Hotel is probably the same architect na binago ang original Classical design ng Quiapo Church expansion...dapat hindi pumsyag yung mga pari ng Quiapo na imodermize yung expansion ..ang pangit ng naging hitsura parang nababoy....dana ibalik yung original design ng Quiapo church

I will definitely consider staying at this hotel soon. However, I couldn't help but notice a dirt smudge on the facade and windows at the beginning of the video. Hopefully, they prioritize maintenance of the building.

The Grand dame tries to hold on to it's former glory!..it still is a place of luxury and enjoyment, but it needs to upgrade and renovate to catch up with the newer, swankier hotels that have been sprouting around the Metro in the last couple of years!..Hotel habitues are excitedly awaiting the opening of the new Mandarin Oriental in Makati..(sked opening date in 2026)..Other fellow Grand Dames and heritage Hotels abroad like the Ritz Mandarin Oriental in Madrid, Mandarin Oriental and the Peninsula (both in Paris)..features high gloss and quality interiors and state of the art amenities despite their decades old existence..they managed to move and adapt with the times and trends, while maintaining traces of its storied past!..Manila Hotel is a great hotel, but it has a lot of catching up to do, to stay at par with some of the best and finest hotels in the world..🤔
Impressive and I like the museum. It showcases the rich history of the area. It is truly important to make an effort to restore every corner of this unique area of Manila.

sana i restore o irehabiltate yung .ga nasirang structures dyan sa Intramuros para katulad ng ginawang pagaayos sa Ayntamiento n sa on going Intendencia para makita natin ngayon how they looked like instead of looking at old ruin walls w/c is not exciting to see...also sana i restore yung mga nasirang monuments katulad ng monument ni Magellan sa harap ng Intendencia....also sana i landscape ng maganda ang Plaza Roma sa harap ng Manila Cathedral....
