@@CPsGarage ….and my heart sinks. The dealer wont do it as it’s a company vehicle. Looks like I’m buying a really expensive scan tool from amazon. Hope one of these will do it. Just want 1-2 mph more to get past annoying speed limit drivers. You know the ones you pull out to overtake and they throttle up to 70🤬
This is for when you are getting everything in time to remove the belt or after you get a new belt installed and turned the engine over and the pins won't go into the holes in the head. The gears are designed to be adjustable on the cam hubs. The hubs are what you are actually worried about getting in the right spot. Once the hubs are pinned the gears can be retightened.
Thank u for posting this, have the same lights as these, been struggling , came to tbe conclusion i need to cut, and u have confirmed iam not just doing somthing wrong lol
@@CPsGarage the oil geek proved not long ago that its one of the most important things to do. I realized it 3 years ago while do the first oil change on my car. Didn't pre fill, and the ADD OIL light stayed on until everything started moving. That's on a 1.5l!
My 07 Mustang is having an intermitant problem with the starter relay-pcm-ign switch system. I think it might be a wiring problem. Do you think Forscan would find that? Thanks.
I found this after buying a $50 72 hours license 😅. Didnt even get to use it fully because I still had a no coms with modules. Pcm abs and 4x4. After finding the fault. I found forscan. Wasted $50.00 bucks 👟👟
I am going to have to check ours again! Ours was always a Florida vehicle so I am thinking it seems to be happing in places where they are being used on salty roads, just a theory. I will check mine again. I have a clunking but pretty sure it’s the front lower control arm bushings.
We got lucky! The storm was to far away. We seen maybe 40mph gusts of wind and some rain but not enough to really make a difference. Y'all in SC and NC got hammered.
@@CPsGarage we good but. Go west of Columbia. Not so good We live on high ground. Lots of rain. And my trees got trimmed. Never lost power 👍. I’m 30 miles south of Columbia.
@CPsGarage ok awesome! You're a guru with these things man, thank you. Also, I noticed it said "stop use of transmission additive" as another option. Would that turn it off all together, instead of just pausing it???
@@CPsGarage oh, the Innova 5610 seems to have software already bundled with it. I don't think you need forscan as well. I was just wondering if you were familiar with it, and if it could also stop the addaptive transmission bs
@@IronnLung I have no idea about that other program never used it. I use Forscan and Ford's software only when it comes to Ford's. When it comes to Land Rover I used GAP tool and Topix.
Code reader, daig tests, and live data without dragging out a laptop is way better. Module programming stuff should be done on a computer with a wired device.
Manual Regen is only done at idle and when the load is 100%. The IPC will have a statement at the bottom of the DPF load screen saying hold on to start cleaning.
@@CPsGarage But my engine sometimes automatically starts regeneration on the road or just when I get home, and I have to drive at high speed for a while. It would be great if I could control this function to activate on the highway!
Quick question, Do you need to reset or do you need a computer after you install a new fan? That's the only thing Im concern once you got the new fan on, i dont have a OBDscanner or forscan to reset whatever code or counter that needs resetting. It is also not clear if this is necessary, is there any othet way to reset any codes like manually, unplugging something? My car dont have any check engine light. The fan is really hard to come by, it is not available anywhere....
Once the fans are replaced and 2 successful drive cycles happens the code would clear. The code for these fans won't set a check engine light. Only would cause a lack of power from my experience.
@@CPsGarage Just to add, my sympstoms are also lack of acceleration, it revs too high without launch power, It doesnt charge/regenerate when braking, assist is non- existent and of course it does not go to EV mode whatever you do to your vehicle but Thank you so much for this video, It really does helps out many 2nd hand owners of ford hybrids.
I've been trying to decide on Diesel or gas because of longevity but I see so many video's of Diesels in the shop ? What's the reason? Poor maintenance? Keep in mind I drove big Trucks for 38 years and those Diesels if maintained would run at least 500k before issues of any kind...
I have a joying head unit that i specifically bought so I could use the Torque app. I have a 03' E350 7.3l and cant seem to get the OBDII Bluetooth adapter to talk to the ECU. Any one have this problem and solution?
