We don't use TL or UL ratings in the UK we use the European grading system. These isolator mechanisms cone in 7 or more models, the closest you would see in the USA would be the Chatwood Milner Monarch
@@MrKelocks Wow! from what I know a euro grade 5 safe is equivalent to a TRTL 30x6 and a grade 6 is equivalent to a UL rated TRTL60X6 so grade 7 must offer more protection then the highest UL rated stuff.... I could be wrong though, that's just what I gathered from reading online but it's rather difficult to find literature with direct comparisons between U.L ratings and the Euro Grading system.
Nice, just happened to miss one bolt also :) PITA to drill through one sometimes. That barrier material reminds me of some they use, cement mixed with not sand but aluminium oxide powder. Makes one hell of a packing material, basically drill eating concrete :D
You seemed to do that quite quickly, even allowing for edited cuts. What is to prevent n'e'r do wells obtaining or crafting a similar tool? I'm thinking of the 'sport' of picking locks. You can't even posses lock picking tools in my country unless a licensed locksmith; I'm guessing there are similar laws in the UK. Once you open it you presumably have the data needed to cut new keys or does the fact that you have opened it without the 'proper' keys mean it now needs a major overhaul?
Once open the safe is fully refurbished in this case. The pick is made by myself and I don't sell these tools but offer a safe opening service. All of the picks I make and sell are restricted to the locksmith market and not sold outside the trade
